The sensor I used was 1/8''NPT and the schrader on a fox is 1/16'' NPT. Any straight adapter for those sizes with work. www.summitracing.com/parts/atm-3280?seid=srese1&gclid=CjwKCAjw59q2BhBOEiwAKc0ijQjmlu2SVMUmLRTL5NL4R5htU2GwI6GuduZi6vxxH0BYqmsPdG2rGRoCuKwQAvD_BwE
Great vid, thank you! Question: What did you do for a fuse box cover after installing the fuse tap? Just grind plastic down on the stock cover so it cleared? I don't think I've seen anyone address that. TIA.
I have been running with the cover off for a while now. When I get around to cleaning the car up some more, I’ll probably look for a way to splice into something and remove the fuse tap.
When you remove the Schrader valve you need an adapter to accept the pressure sensor’s 1/8” NPT fitting? Does that come with the Lowdollar Motorsports sensor? Or they sell the adapter separately? Or you sourced the adapter elsewhere? Thank you! This is a very helpful video.
The Shrader valve is 1/16" NPT. I already had a 1/8" to 1/16" T junction to mount a fuel pressure gauge off of it. No idea why I didn't find a bushing 20 years ago but now I was able to just add the sensor to the other output so I still have the gauge in the engine compartment, in case I need it while fiddling around and don't want to muck about with handheld or a laptop for whatever reason, and the sensor feeding the Term X data. Did something similar with Oil Pressure sending unit in that I created a 3-output junction (super gaudy lol, 1 for stock gauge, 1 for pillar-mounted mechanical gauge, and 1 for Term X).
