+Jordan Jones she's still pretty underrated tho lol, I don't here people talking about her, she also isn't on the music channel but I hope this song will be & hopefully it will chart
+Jordan Jones That GRAMMY wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for Zedd and the label encouraging him to feature her on Clarity. She deserves more praise and success than what she already gets, that's for sure.
I was just kidding around guys. Lighten up😑 I'm trying to say that she's more than just being popular .. her voice and the awards it's received is what makes her special to me.
I remember the first day this song came out. I came from school, my family was not at home, I listened to the song by repeating it for 3 hours. This song reminds me of my high school memories. I love you foxes you are always on my mind ❤
One of the finest singers, 2022 still love this song, played with high volume, the beats, highs all are perfect, foxes is a gem.she is so underrated, it hurts😒
She's so talented and so underrated. I hate that people pay more attention to other "artists" that doesn't have any talent. She is definitely one of the best artists of this decade . And this song is much better than any other released this year. YAAAAS SLAY MY LIFE QUEEN!
Tell a lie Tell a lie that makes me want to stay Give me something out of nothing, if it's not too late If it's real If it's real I guess I'll feel the pain Coming closer, out of focus Oh, and it's hard to It's hard to love someone who can't be loved But it's what you do It's what you do Baby, you're so cruel, you're so cruel 'Cause you got me bound to you, bound to you This love I can't undo, can't undo 'Cause you got me bound to you, bound to you Losing me Carelessly you sacrifice Give me something out of nothing, if it's not too late Did you steal or borrow me and all my life? Coming closer, out of focus Oh, and it's hard to It's hard to love someone who can't be loved But it's what you do It's what you do Baby, you're so cruel, you're so cruel Cause you got me bound to you, bound to you This love I can't undo, can't undo 'Cause you got me bound to you, bound to you All I do is pray and it's keeping me awake When I try to leave, I think that you need me, do you? Baby, you're so cruel, you're so cruel 'Cause I'm still bound to you, bound to you There's a line that pulls me back to you There's only so much I can do A bind that holds the spark wrapped around my heart There's only so much I can do when you got me bound to you Baby, you're so cruel, you're so cruel Cause you got me bound to you, bound to you This love I can't undo, can't undo Cause you got me bound to you, bound to you All I do is pray and it's keeping me awake When I try to leave, I think that you need me, do you? Baby, you're so cruel, you're so cruel But I'm still bound to you, bound to you I'm still bound to you, bound to you I'm still bound to you, oh I'm still bound to you, oh I'm still bound to you
She's not underrated, she's just talented. No hype, no superficiality but only sincerity. The fact that she's not more famous permits for her to keep her head on her shoulders, and that's a good thing for the music, for her and us. She is (and still) a great artist, and one of the favorite of my bf thanks to whom i discover her ^^. A genius is loved for who she is, not for being notorious a lot or for her fame. Louisa is one of the greatest author, musician, composer, performer of our time in Pop Music. And she does Pop Music of quality like nobody else. Let's keep her as she is and enjoy her music and gift!! ❤❤❤
I'm wondering if my fellow Foxes fans could help me with something? My youngest boy Zachary age 4 has autism & until recently he couldn't hold conversation with anyone. I discovered Foxes like 2 months ago & for some reason the sounds she creates have worked wonders for him. They speak to him, & in turn me, on a level I never imagined possible. Now he can sing pretty much any Foxes song word perfect, which for anyone who knows him is nothing short of a miracle!! She's also transformed how I view music. The songs I write now because of this woman are awesome, catchy experimental pop songs, which my son also loves!! She's transformed my life, now we can't shut him up haha!! I put a vid on my channel of him singing Youth & I'm on a mission to hopefully get Louisa to know what an amazing thing she has done. I know if I was responsible for such a life changing event I'd want to know about it, so I was wondering if you kind people would share the vid, tweet it to Louisa, whatever you can really, just so hopefully she knows what she has done!!
I really enjoyed her playing as a simple girl walking around the house playing her music with her earphones in. I can relate. It was quite cool at 2:32 when she is standing by the fire and the frame is nothing but black, red and orange. I guess it stood for how attracted she is, and "bound to" whatever struggle she is dealing with.
It seems there isn't many people in the world who truly get Foxes. I noticed this from video commenets. She literally transforms lives I'm not joking, in such a massively more life affirming way than anyone else in music, take it from me. I'm 33 year old male who's been writing indie rock songs for the last 15 years with varying degree's of success, then Foxes (Louisa) turns up in my life like 2 months ago & she's literally got my mute autistic son talking & me writing truly unique awesome pop songs!!!! Life is so sweet 'cos of this woman!! Her music, her vision, her attitude, where she came from. After 33 years loving music, she's more influential to me than Bowie I really mean that. Have a look at the vid in my channel of my amazing son singing a Foxes tune at a time in his life when he barely spoke, now we can't shut him up!! Louisa deserves all the respect in the world. As does another amazing lady called Rhiannon Hodgson, keep an eye out for her, she's gonna be huge too, like me!
Good question. Been trying to figure this out tbh & all I can seem to come up with is certain sounds make like your molecules vibrate in a certain way!! Haha. People can mock me I don't care because I've made complete peace with this. Been obsessed with music all my life & then Foxes turns up, she's like the greatest thing to me musically ever. Heard Bodytalk first, literally stayed up all night playing it over & over. Then I found Youth, then Echo, White Coats. Now everything. Never known any band or artist effect me like this. Such a relief when I found out she writes her music & everything!! Thanks Ahmad. This is my Zen mate, hadn't thought of it like that.
+SuckerLove do you like Chvrches? Check out Lies, Clearest Blue, Gun and Never Ending Circles. You might also like Tove Lo's Moments, My Gun and Not On Drugs. Foxes rules. Very glad for your son.
+Shakuntal Sharma Funny you should ask that mate as I literally discovered them at the same time as Foxes!! You know what? The only reason I discovered Foxes was because I heard this insane tune on one of the music channels. It was like nothing I've heard before. I missed the title at the end because the music was so powerful I had my eyes shut!! Anyway I spent 2 days solid searching for this tune, like my life depended on it. Turns out it was Roses by the Chainsmokers!! Anyway, it was on my quest to find this song that I discovered Foxes & Chvrches. Funny you should tie them in together as they're quite different. I love Leave A Trace & Recover!! It's all weird is this because I just spent 15 years listening to Oasis, Placebo, the Verve, Pixes etc but I don't ever remember music getting to me as much as this stuff. Synthpop, experimental pop. It's awesome. Exciting times!!
She does amazing videos this lady, all written by her! What an awesome vision she has!! What's everyones top 5? Mine in order; 1. Body Talk 2. Youth 3. Cruel 4. Holding onto Heaven 5. White Coats
i'm obsessed with Foxes and her vocals beyond what I believe is even normal. Her debt album still remains one of my favorites of all times. Echo and Count The Saints are two of my favorites lyrically, but this and Money are two of my favorites to put me in a good mood. Shameless plug, I'm an indie artist making my own music that I write, produce, and perform in my bedroom by myself. It'd be cool if some of reading this could check it out. Thanks!
+gabby baan which one? Cruel has a positive vibe, Scar is more a personal song that i felt for the last months, so it has actually a meaning. I had a time when i used to listen repeteadly to "If you leave me now" which is also good
+mondaymornings3 because there is a homeless man who lives outside my house and collects the clothes I don't need, so I throw them out of my window for him to collect, and my rabbit keeps running away and turning up in my wardrobe, I don't know why I guess he likes the smell of my cheesy shoes in there....
I have always just loved this song. its so beautiful and heartfelt! it kind of hurts because it hits me right in the feels, being in love with somebody who is tied down by a relationship or a commitment is one of the most bittersweet things. they can make you feel hopeful and happy but the constant thought of them brings you so much pain all you want is to see them happy and to be in your life but sadly they can never be with you because it will destroy what you have be it your friendship or your life state because all you do is think of them. I'm currently living this song so it means so so much to me, thank you for reading and thanks to Foxes for this masterpiece of a song
I just don't get why people don't like Foxes (Louisa) - she's brilliantly talented and unashamedly different. Loved her feats. Songs on other artist tracks. LOVED her first album. And her second was even better. Love her retro indie style of fashion, her musical sound and her seemingly carefree attitude. Plus I've seen her live and met her. She's such a pleasant friendly lady. Lets face it. Youth, Let it Go, Holding Onto Heaven, White Coats, Body Talk, Amazing, Cruel, If You Leave Me Now and Feet Don't Fail Me.... some of the catchiest pop tracks I've heard in a long long time. People liken her to Halsey, or even SIA. I love them both too. But think home grown talent like Foxes shouldn't be overlooked. Goes to show us that the UK can produce equally successful artists :)
foxes is so talented, the lyrics, the bass, the mv are just amazing! can't believe she's so devaluated, she made a mv for every single music.. damn. effort symbol
I've listened to this song almost exclusively while playing sims 3 and now that I'm listening to it again, I get reminded of all my sims 3 worlds that I will sadly never see again.
