To me, Matt Patrick's argument that Kaepernick is insincere and may be racist himself is irrelevant. No one knows whether or not he was sincere except him -- we can't get into his head. Matt says that if he was sincere, he'd use his millions to donate to causes that would benefit the black community rather than sit during the anthem, but whether or not you agree, what Kaepernick did WAS very effective (everyone is talking about it) and it is his right to do it. So that's all that needs to be said. Is it his right? Yes. Did it work? Definitely, yes. Everything else is just derailing the conversation.
