I managed to kill a phantom once. Saw him walking in the middle of nowhere and shot him. He kept walking as if nothing was up, so I kept shooting. Blood would fly out, so I reasoned if it could bleed, it could be killed. I kept shooting and running ahead of the phantom to shoot again. Eventually it did fall. I checked the body for loot. Radio, wrench, pistol, and ammo.
Lol the phantom story actually happened to me. We were walking to the front at night when I suddenly saw this Warden float by . I started blasting at the air and everyone looked at me weirdly. Funny how they used a bug as part of the lore. I always joked that I was seeing the ghosts of past soldiers who weren’t able to move on.
I simply ADORE that they made the floating bug a real part of the game It also gets even more reals when veterans don’t remark it anymore and new players shoot them from incomprehension. Also I implore you to give in private if possible these clues are I, and many other players, surely won’t be able to do such hunt (or there is perhaps a link for these texts) thank you, your videos are always a pleasure to watch
On behalf of the Ministry of Information, I declare this video to consist of nothing but slander and unfounded conjecture. All soldiers are hereby instructed to ignore it. Callahan protects.
The blood cult might be wardens who have huge PTSD from the wars and during the fighting met their “gods” who revel in the death and blood of the innocent as a method to gain power. I’d say the cult are crazed and crave death and blood as it is all about them and use it as a coping mechanism to find something meaningful…I’m just brainstorming here
I used to got into the foxhole bike cult in war 96. a other wardens said there’s 1 cyclist bring ammo and gun for allied, but then it stuck in a foxhole. People try to jump in and save him but then a cannon fall and kill everyone in there, but a bike From then who dare to jump in there will died from a bike, but sacrificing a injured one will make it cool for 20m We have to do it because the foxhole provide a covered in the battle, enemy try to bomb it but it wouldn’t be destroyed, Heard from an warden it survive until the end of war.
With the ghost bug story that makes me 100% believe the body arranging cult probably was actually some group of players arranging bodies into patterns for shits and giggles
Thank you for the hard work you doing compiling the lore of our beloved foxhole it's God's work brother keep it up and may the legion see victory in the century war. Legio Invicta!
I really like the idea that this world was once teeming with mythical beings and supernatural phenomenon and then the Great War laid them all to waste, and now they only exsist as hushed whispers in far corners of the ruined world.
3:18 If you follow the shore line south at Jade cove there is a cave that mentions Cara as well. On the cave wall you see tally marks, much like the small cuts marked into the stock of Cara's Rifle that's cursed only pouring blood from the barrel, and looking into the tent you can see that these tallies are for a competition with another solder seeing who can eliminate more soldiers.
had a feeling I'd see a wendigo like thing somewhere in here, the antlered statue guy, always kinda weirded out by wendigos since I am from the tribe and local area that they originated from and stories. not that I'm afraid it's just in the version over here it is an amalgam 8 foot mosquito man that amasses that takes people in the night, I think that's scarier than the white halloween story kinda wendigo or the scp one lmao
