To me, it's like the modern version of the Mutron Octave Divider, especially the Octron 2 which let's you turn the individual octave sections on and off, if I'm remembering correctly. I'm gonna open up the 3 and see if there's any trimpots inside like the octron 1 had.
AmateurEffectsReviews will you report back regarding trim pots? And related: is the octave down by itself loud enough to feel like its unity with the bypass signal? I have an old Japanese oc-2 that I love the sound of but it always sounds quieter than my clean tone.
Hi! Thanks for the video! Does it track well down to low E ? Did you have the possibility to compare the tracking with other analogue octaves (MXR, Aguilar, 3leaf etc...)
Hey! Sorry, i sold this one long ago. From what i remember though I generally found the tracking to be okay until around the 5th Fret A on the E string. In general, from the analog octave pedals ive tried, the MXR Bass Octave Fuzz, Sub Machine and Slash Octave Fuzz had some of the best tracking i've ever seen. The Mutron and Behringer Octave Dividers both feature great tracking in my opinion.
