I fell in love with this song with Buckleys version, and no one, not even LC, or Rice could match it.... Foy, You just won. Best Version of Hallelujah I've ever heard. Hands down the best.

Huge Leonard Cohen fan boy, and also a big fan and regular listener of Foy Vance. He's great, and I listen to him a lot. This is an excellent cover. Better than most. The only thing is, as with most artists who cover this song, they don't include all the verses. If he had done the full song, it may have rivaled the original. Still a fantastic cover.

This is hands down my favorite cover of this song - thank you for this amazing version. It was sad to hear of Leonard's passing tonight. I used to squeeze my head between two speakers in the late 60's and 70's and listen to the '67 album Songs Of Leonard Cohen ... over and over and over. I'll miss waiting for 'the next incarnation' of Leonard Cohen, but I'm immensely grateful for the music he's left us, and that many younger artists are keeping his legacy alive. I came across this a week or so ago, I don’t know how i made it this many years not hearing it. Foy’s voice mesmerizes me in his other songs, and I decided to click on this because who doesn’t love a good Cohen Hallelujah cover. I haven’t gotten goosebumps like I did in i don’t know how long. You can feel the pure raw emotion, and while the performance is far from perfect, the imperfections make it exactly just that. Absolutely perfect
