Pretty sure it's a combination of Vince McMahon's "perception is reality" spiel and I think Chris once mentioned someone telling him to always look like a rockstar.
@@timmoore8773 i do agree most artists use backround tracks atleast thats him singing even if it aint perfect its better then alot of the crap nowadays i think its pretty damn good better then avarage he does have some talent
Tell that to every single AEW fan. They all know this song by heart probably. Not to mention all the exposure this got on FM Stations and XM Stations. Not to mention Jerrico hosted/hosts his own program on XM's Octane Station.
Imagine At The End Of The Song ... He whispers... You Know What Happens.. When You Just Don't Sing With Fozzy... You Know What Happens. You Just Made The List!!! Epic...🔥🔥🔥🔥
Most festivals don't have the setup time for vocal enhancements that Jericho uses on stage. Most festivals give you 15 min set up time, and thats normally without a sound check. This is 100 percent natural jericho, unlike most venue shows where they have their own audio engineer at the shows. 😀
@@snakeey3zhiphop As a live sound tech the sound could be 100% better. I did tons of festivals for many years and never had a sound check, and could dial in the band in half a song and that was on analog consoles. The art of good live sound techs is hard to find anymore. Many how don't mix rock or metal music much anymore. The sound in this mix is very dry, with no verb on the drums, vocals surely no delay/verb of any kind. Sounds like the feed for this video is all from the monitor mix. If you don't listen to rock or metal you surely won't be able to know where to start a mix from. Like most things today, the standards have been lowered.
Not the best performance but you have to admire the man. He’s singing his ass off and the “ARENYOU READY FOR FOZZZZAYYYYYYYYYY” in the beginning was sick asf 🥵
I enjoyed this live as Chris Jericho was having a blast - joking that no one bought the album but they could pretend they did and cheer him on, firing off a dry ice cannon and generally prancing about. It started my day well at Bloodstock that year.
still people in the comments surprised to see jericho sing live in a band .. loool some people really do sleep all their life .. the man and his band putting out music for 20 + years !!
What I found surprising was that somebody said this guy is a world wrestler or something? Who knew? I don't know if he's any good? In rock n roll he's kinda been considered what we call a *vanilla midget* but I wouldn't expect any rasslin fans to get that *insider* term. Anyhow....I do miss the original drummer though ... Nobody can replace *Ralphus*
@@pelicanphuucker4life yup! he is a good wrestler actually a legend. he is in AEW right now. this song is also his entrance theme in there and people sing with it every time! check out his All Out PPV entrance in AEW.
@@homixideyeji5020 lol right. Simps from our place write like this thinking people will be shocked that even the noble, supreme race of India is interested in this.Always hurts me to see idiot teens commenting like his
I was a kid when I saw him wrestling in Mexico as Lion Heart. He was still amazing. Now I need to go see him in a concert. I will call him Lion Heart too. lol
damn did amazing in wwe, then did amazing in njpw then did amazing in aew despite his age. then just randomly becomes a rockstar with a top song, on top of launching his own cruise. damn he really is the only legend that got better with age
That Chris Jericho jacket with the scarf is fire it reminds me of his old one in the WWE with the lights and then when he switched to the scarf with lights
Unfortunately, you see the big difference between an AEW show and a music stage here. But hey: they have fun on the stage and have a good taste of music. Keep it up!
Y2J may actually be the greatest of all time. There have been better " Wrestlers" but to do what this man has done for damn near 30 yrs and can still put on a A+ match and get a crowd pumped up and never change his character for the most part is something that nobody will ever touch.. He is the Tom Brady of WCW WWE New Japan and AEW..
Imagine trying to hit all those high notes after years of abusing steroids. All that extra testosterone doesn't really do wonders for keeping the vocal cords flexible.
THIS SONG IS FUCKING AMAZING. no matter what happens with jericho in aew (tho honestly jericho can do most things well he is like this era's hbk) this song will always be his legacy
Jericho was so wild and into it that's why his voice was off, probably distracted him from singing the song properly. But in fairness his voice was able to catch up on the last part.
Jericho's a good guy and I'm glad he's having fun, but damn...not good. Plus I really don't like it when celebrities get unfair opportunities for their music when there are legitimately talent bands toiling in obscurity.
Yeah, it's crazy that a guy who understands and respects music as much as Jericho can delude himself into thinking he actually deserves to be at these types of festivals. He's a regional opening act at best as far as his vocal abilities go. Even more embarrassingly, he's largely lipsyncing in future performances, so he's not just an incompetent but also a poser.
@@Sasfoot Just because that audience, like most, are undiscerning doesn't mean Jericho is any good. Dude can't sing for shit. Obviously he wouldn't be anywhere near a stage with Tate if it weren't for his pro wrestling fame.
I came here after seeing the video of him performing Blinding Light by The Weeknd on a cruise in 2025 just to see if his singing was always that bad. I feel like it has only gotten worse since this video
i dont give a shit, i just fucking love this guy, i cant wait to go to a Fuzzy concert, they all look like they love what they are doin, and he es GREAT!, he actually has a good scream.
