I had one dickens of a time doing my wing tips per the print. I ended up doing a significant amount of reinforcement to the trailing edge of the tip. Ended up with what I think is a funky looking trailing edge to the bow. I wish I would have waited to do the ends of the spars like you did. Oh well, maybe the next
Kit I will just make the tips level. I don't know at this point whether the prints are right or it's another issue with their prints being whacked out. Thanks for posting your stuff. It helps to see an experienced builder face these issues.
very good work, nice to watch. Due to the shortage of aviation plywood in our country, I almost always use diagonal slats on my models to counteract torsion 👍👍👍🇺🇦
Hey the next video you do.Can you do one on waiting balance on the 202 with and without the wings, and do you have to stitch the wings and by chance?Do you know what the Horsepower is?The kawasaki four forty eight p a waiting for reply
@@frankbruns7137 sorry I just saw this. There's no need to do a w/b without the wings. And even doing a weight and balance of the empty plane is kinda fruitless because you only fly with a person in the seat and about 2-5 gallons of gas. I recently did a quick video on doing the w/b on the 202. The adjustment for w/b is simply moving the seat forward or back. I suppose in an extreme situation (1/2 VW with too long a motor mount) you may have to put tail weight on it.
@@frankbruns7137 wow, after looking at my weight and balance quick guide video I found so many errors that I re-edited it. I deleted the old one and uploaded my edited version.
I have found out where the problem is ...where can I send you a picture? The bow starts lower on the leading edge and the leading edge must be beveled in an angle
