Wait, there are 3 FPBs in the same yard? WOW. Your narration style is like describing a Picasso. Which I think is appropriate. The opposite of the used car salesman approach of many brokers.

@@petertorrey4080 17:43 shows the auxiliary prop so I think it's safe to assume it's got the engine as well

@@petertorrey4080 she does. We see the “get home” engine in the engine room tour, just in front of the Kabola heater. And we see the “get home” prop shaft and feathering prop at the end of the tour.

????? The Elling is a plastic coastal cruiser, this is an aluminium blue water cruiser with a 5000nm range. Two completly different boats

I so Gump’s shrim fishing boat ! But, what is these boat made for? Its obisly very strong. I dont feel like living months on it 🤔😀😇

This is a very early FPB, which didn’t really go much for luxury. It’s all about safety and go-anywhere, anytime utility. Check out the later FPB 78s, or the amazing 1-of-1 FPB 97, Iceberg, which look much more comfortable without sacrificing any of the utility. Watch the videos of these in rough seas. Guys inside comfortably standing, sipping coffee while massive waves crash against the boat-it cuts right through them. Part of the secret is the hull shape and proportions. These boats are built for advenure cruisers, certainly not fashionable marina parties. Their destroyer-had-a-lovechild-with-a-sailboat look is actually an advantage if sailing to ports where you may not want to attract attention. If I had that kind of cash I’d snap up the Iceberg, which is also for sale.

these boats are made for taking long voyages very safely and efficiently. Look up Steve Dashew FPB boats, they are very interesting and capable vessels.

Made to cross oceans, made to go to the South or North Pole, made to go out to sea in heavy weather, built like a submarine, self-rising like Coast Guard and Pilot Boats ......... it is not a "Miami Party Boat .....
