PLEASE NOTE: If you should see a comment from me saying you have been selected for a prize, it is not me, but rather just some scammer trying to get your money. You have been warned!
Nice video Steve....You cracked me up 😂as you tossed the drone aside after explaining you can't damage it. At least you got to be indoors for this video. Looks like a good little fun flyer. Like your sweat shirt as well.....
For the price I like to practice with theses fpv kits and keep a few of them for friends and family who are scared to fly your expensive drones. Thanks Captain
Great Captain Drone! We catched just down to home the blue tiny suitcase. We are here really happy about your good advice (also by stickers) and how you explained to tuning up that way drone for opportunity of first flight for beginers.
That is why I like Emax Drones. Everything is pretty good for getting started in FPV hobby! It costs less than 260 dollars which is surprisingly low cost! I knew that you will be reviewing it as I checked the launch video of Emax EZ Pilot Pro before on their official channel! The drone is beautiful and durable just like Tinyhawk I,II,III and flies with that high pitch sound! The detachable screen of the goggles always gets me! Irts a nice thing to have a choice to see what drone is seeing in a removable display! That is good for beginners! I had a question. Which drone is better in your opinion? Tinyhawk III or EZ Pilot Pro?
That detachable screen is great. Perfect solution if you don't have a spotter! Not really relevant for this mostly indoor drone but I would like to see it on other drones or rather goggles.
Looks like a great way to get started in FPV! So far watching the screen like that with my mini 2 has not made me motion sick although even in "FPV" mode the mini 2 video stays super smooth. FPV sims have not gone well for the motion thing even though driving games like Forza are a non-issue.
Great video. I’m surprised there’s not people hitting the pools after Captain Drone opened his patio doors to fly a new toy, and announce to the groundhogs: “EARLY SPRING THIS YEAR!” Lol.
Ok being able to put the display on the controller is great! Ok not a 1,000 racing drone but this is totally fun! I would say load up and batteries and well chase the dogs around the house!!!
Great review Captain!; another option for those thinking of dipping a toe in the FPV arena !!! (BTW, your kitchen was pretty immaculate compared to ours!!!!!)
Thanks for the review. Very in depth. I am new to FPV and have £200 to spend on a begginer kit. The EMAX EZ Pilot Pro and the BetaFPV Cetus Pro are both the same price. I've watched both of your reviews, but finding it hard to decide. What would you recommend? Or would you recommend something different entirely for the limited budget? Thanks!
Thanks@@CAPTAINDRONE798! I have upped my budget to £250 and looking at the BetaFPV Cetus X as I would like to fly it more outside than in. The Sub250 kit looks great however - I realised that I can get it directly form their website. Which would you say has the edge? Cetus X or the Sub250. Thanks!
Looks like a nice budget option. Honestly i’m probably the only one but i really prefer flying fpv with a display. Being able to just fly fpv and back it off with some line of sight every now and then is really fun. I’d probably quit the hobby if i had to fly with goggles. Is there anyone else flying fpv with a display on the radio?
Pricey but nice, check out the newbie Acura be also. I've run into some quality control issues with emax and have been stepping away from the product line
A very good idea to have the display on or off the Emax have almost got it ,but i look forward to seeing your next one ,and maybe they mite go Digital with good goggles for people who have to wear glasses .🎮
Steve I need to ask being brand, brand new to the FPV world. A month or so ago you reviewed the BETAFPV beginner kit which I almost bought. Now I see the E-Max EZ PILOT. Asking advice from you and others which may be best for me with my 14 yo grandson interested in the hobby. Appreciate your channel and community.
These are beginner kits to get you started in the FPV drone hobby so both are not going to win any awards, but they are a great first step to learning how to fly FPV before you spend big dollars to buy yourself a hobby radio, quality goggles, quality FPV drone along with hobby batteries and a hobby battery charger. So either kit will get you started.
This is perfect! I was going to get the tinyhawk 3 but actually like the frame on this better looks like there's way more camera protection how well does it fly in acro? Freestyle any good? Lol
If you have a tiny budget then the NEWBEEDRONE VR Drone is the best. If you have an average budget then the BETAFPV CETUS PRO or AQUILLA16 or SUB250 WHOOPFLY 16 are best. If you have a large budget then the DJI AVATA 1 or 2 is a good start.
Just curious as to why you recorded with your other headset if you can record with the one it came with. Is the stock one not very good for recording ?
Normally I show what the one in the kit looks like. Did I not do it in this video? They all record the same since all are using the same recording system and receiving the signal in a similar method.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 sorry, I misunderstood when I first commented, the one that you could record with is the newest tinyhawk, i think I'm gonna go with that one. Thank you !
In the FPV hobby you connect to the RECEIVER and not a drone. So when you buy an FPV drone you have to select the receiver that works with your radio. The radio you have works with D8 & D16 receivers. I don’t think you can get that with the Flywoo. Just buy yourself a hobby radio like the Radiomaster TX16S and be sure to get the 4 in 1 chip in it.
So do they fly the same? I don't care about recording video right now, maybe I'll get this kit and get a better headset and drone later? My bro has the TH3 and I don't want to go out and get a better/worse drone, but want to be able to get something better later
Kinda sucks that they didn't add that sd card in the screen. You can see it's part of the mold. Wouldn't have cost much more. But I guess they want to have the difference for the tiny hawk 3.
Captain Drone could you do an unboxing and flight test review of the Anself RC Drone with Camera 4K 3-axis Gimbal Brushless Motor 5G Wifi FPV Quadcopter 1000m Control Distance 25mins Flight Time. The drone is from a 3rd party seller on Walmart. The drone seems like another version of the KF101 Drone. Could you please do an unboxing and flight test review of the drone. I'm not sure if I should buy it because it could of looks sketchy.
You can record the video on any of a million different display items for the FPV hobby (goggles or stand alone displays). The TINYGO has a 4K camera built in that you attach a micro SD card.... it is also not a WHOOP, so it is more difficult to fly.
CETUS PRO is more of a simple drone, but with optical flow (something not normally in FPV drones), so people with no hand/eye coordination would do better with the CETUS PRO.
Goggles yes. Drone should also bind but you'd have to check with the EMAX to ensure it has a compatible d8 or d16 receiver, and also get the instructions on how to bind.
Seemed to be an awful lot of interference, is that normal? I've not seen anything like that much in any of your other "round the house vids" or outside for that matter. Cheap and cheerful too much perhaps?
Lol in what world is the cam on this in anyway good? This kit was pure junk!!! Goggles are as cheap as can be made not to mention how small the screen is. Do yourself a favor and get the Tinyhawk 2 RTF Kit it is a way way way way nicer. If anyone reviews this anything less than junk, has some kind of motives to try and sell these . Just my 2 cents coming from flying and owning all of the Tinyhawks!
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Lol no....but for the sake of the hobby lets hope they keep making them. Because if I would have gotten this RTF kit first, no way in hell I would have gotten into FPV. I am trying to get a friend into FPV got him the ez pilot for xmas and ya that was worse than this thing. Then we ordered this EZ pilot pro thinking this would be the sweet spot, well not even close to the quality of the Tinyhawk 2 RTF kit. Needless to say he has a Tinyhawk 2 on the way lol!! 🌿
Steve ! You B lucky I'm not your neighbor ! I would be coming to see you " all " the time. Ok Steve what are we doing today? You would hear me say that every morning.
