Benvenuta is a movie produced and directed by André Delvaux in 1983, the music being composed by renowned Belgian composer Frédéric Devreese. His suite "Benvenuta" became one of his most popular works of which he made several versions. The version for viola and piano was created in December 2012 by Daniel Rubenstein and Muhiddin Dürrüoglu in presence of the composer, followed shortly by the present recording in World Premiere, published by Kalidisc together with other premiere recordings of works by Michel Lysight and Joseph Jongen.
