This is my fr-8 I just got from an out of state gun shop. It was not complete which enabled me to get a great deal on it. The part was easily had. It is a blast to shoot and not a bad looking piece either. Let me know what you think and what is your favorite milsurp rifle.

@@milsurpmagazine9515 , had to pay 750.00 with the bayo n charging clips.... In brand new shape though and next to other milsurp ammo 7.62 nato is easier to get n cheaper.. Now their going for a grand on gunbroker as soon as they go up.. be well.

Not sure if there is an aftermarket hand guard that can be installed with a rail that you could mount a red dot on it, it would make a good hunting rifle with just the irons though, lightweight and packs a wallop. I have a Spanish Mauser 1916 that I mounted a scope on in 7 mm that is a sweet gun to shoot and very accurate with the scope, it’s a no drill mount so I can restore it back to original.
