and that is why we need to stop saying IF and start saying WHEN with tetris progression. there have been a lot of questions about if bluescuti's record would ever be broken. not three months later and he was more than doubled.

I think if charcoal was the 810 lines level it might have been rebirth with how well he was playing on that level. It will be interesting to see if he tries for rebirth with a better 810 line color choice.

If you go by what this levels points are by lines removed per clear at 235, singles worth 9,440 pts, doubles are worth 23,600, triples are worth 70,800, and Tetris worth a staggering 283,200, and thats for 800 line clears before the next level comes. To play perfect Tetris just at this level alone, would be 200 Tetrises, or a crazy 56.64 million just for level 235, which again would be next to improbable to achieve, let alone the fact that to get all Tetris from 18 to the end of 235. (Duh forgot that level 0 is also a level and edited my original post to add additional points to the single, double, triple, and Tetris points by 1 level also) Eventually, someone will get to rebirth, if the game manages to not crash to that point, but congrats to Alex hitting 16.4 mil and for reaching the 800 line level, both which are world records for this game. Again when rolling was introduced now like 3 years ago, the only thing that would stop rolling is stamina, but also this would be the meta gameplay to being in CTWC, to where now CTWC implemented the 39 killscreen to eliminate multi hour matches once rolling became the meta strategy. To all of a sudden having to study particular clearing of the game to avoid crashing Tetris, now in what appears to now reach rebirth, and this has just started. And now becoming the only thing left to reach for to beat Tetris, even though we all know, if rebirth can be achieved, the game could be played infinity outside of avoiding game crash. Simply this has been a crazy 5 plus months of the evolution of Tetris that no one thought 35 plus years ago that wouldnt ever happen.

Anyway, I'm not sure if it is possible to to get to rebirth, due to eye strain. They were pretty strained by this point, and once you start to go blurry, there's no stopping it.
