What is the answer sir why did Titanic sink please clarify Sir
@itss_OM
@itss_OM Год назад
Hi, the answer to it might be covered in materials/metal behaving as ductile and brittle (video) So if I'm not wrong the metal can behave as ductile only when its operated at certain temperature, and if the operating temperature falls below that point the metal then becomes brittle and its ability to be ductile ceases... Hope this gave some explanation to ur question!?

Sir i have done like: needle was pinned from just opposite site of air filling hole.
@introductiontomaterialsscience
@introductiontomaterialsscience 3 года назад
@@bestcakesdesign Near the air filling hole the stress is lower than the rest of the balloon. This is my belief. So the critical crack size c* will be larger there. Thus the hole size c created by the pin should be less than the critical crack size, making it a stable hole.

@@introductiontomaterialsscience thank you sir for my information are you same prof who is teaching in video? If yes then i am very lucky that i am talking with great iit professor.
