You can try to help them turn in bed using the bath blanket/draw sheet underneath them but it's going to be painful. One side might be easier for them to turn onto that the other. Sometimes a PureWick is a better idea for a female. Males can use a urinal (plastic bottle) and you can help hold it for them. They have male PureWicks as well. Sometimes they will do a Foley catheter for a hip fracture patient which is nice because then you can avoid all this but they try not to do Foleys much these days due to the chance of a UTI.
