and those in 2000: "the feels of the 1980's before any _sort_ of digitisation came along... please take me back" and those in 1980: "the feels of the 1960's before AIDS... please take me back" and those in 1960: "the feels of the 1940's before colour TV... please take me back... wait one we were at war nevermind"
I was 63 yesterday, lived through the finest musical decades, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Thanks to John Peel I started to get into house and trance in the mid 90's and on new years eve1999 I went to meet a mate of mine to get some acid.. He couldn't get any but asked me if I'd be interested in a pill instead. After Old Lang Syne I was walking home and happened to be walking past a nightclub and could hear the beat through the walls so I went inside. It was the start of 3 years of pills and being the first on the dance floor and the last off and this amazing track was part of that journey. To say I feel privileged is an understatement...
I'd turn down a million quid to go back to being young listening to bangers like this. Care free social media free days. But sadly just will get older and grumpier😂
miss them all Fragma,Milk inc,Sylver, Ian van dahl,Lasgo an many more i was 12 in 2001 now turning 35 the times surely fly, glad we have the memories of the free flowing time
Still a tune even nowadays, cause of all the remixes about. The classics will never die. I couldn't have been born in a better era, the 1977. I was 14 in 1991, imagine being bombarded with all them tunes that were released and have been since. 😳😳😳🤔🤔🤔🙄🙄🙄🙏🙏🙏😁😁😁🎧🎧🎧🎧🎶🎶🎶
No smartphones addictions, no 5g, no state surveillance, no chips, no “smart” vaccines, no hostile lockdowns, no feminims, no woke culture, definitelly better times
Tune people. I forgot how good this is. I used to go gods kitchen, some great nights. I'm 46 and if I can im going dancing again soon. Respect. Woody ❤❤
I miss this type of dance music from the late 90s and early 00s, and it takes me back to a very particular teenage part of my life. The song still sounds great today!
The care free days of high school, summers spent at the beach and hanging out with mates after finishing exams. This track will stay with me forever, I try not to dwell on nostalgia but the early 2000s trance tracks were bliss.
I agree. Early noughties were pretty special...we had the internet but social media hadn't taken over everything. It felt more relaxed and living in the moment...not the exaggerated narcissism we see today!
I just can't explain how this song makes me happy, 20 years gone by, and this stills sounds exciting. Nothing beats a good melody and a beautiful vocal, somebody need to explain this to tomorrow's creators.
I was 15 years old when I listened this song. Now I'm 35 and I remember like yesterday the feelings on that age. Fragma, Lasgo, Cascade, Groove Coverade. I loved listening these female vocals. Miss it so much
Absolute tune just screams summer in the clubs. Stunning vocals from Maria rubia . Think it's about time these songs were re-released to show everone how it's done.
@@mariarubia4095 Hi Maria! Thanks for the reply! I'm surprised you still follow the comment's section 20 years later! I have a few questions for you about your experience on this song. Is it possible to ask you some questions? You might even want to do a FAQ video one of these days about when you did this song. Saves people like me asking the same questions over and over again. 😊
Man the early 2000's songs when I was the most happy in my life. I was only a child but with 7 to 11 this was the time I felt totally happy no worries about health family or anything everything was greatly going. Everytime I am listening those old and awesome dance / trance songs I need to relate to my most happiest lifetime.
I think the noughties was a much happier for society as a whole less internet my parents didn't even have internet when I was a child, little to no social media, no smart phones, no culture war, no far right or far left woke extremists all over the internet trying to capture the zeitgust, no crazy people saying they identify as a tree or whatever, more fun, better music, movies, tv shows comedy was a lot funnier. The stats suggest that people were much happier in the 2000s there wasn't a mental health crises among young people the way there is now.
yeah i really miss it when Bush and Cheney demolished 3 buildings in NYC and shot a missile into the Pentagon after 2.3billion dollars went missing the day before.
Yeap, that was year when our tennis player Goran Ivanisevic won the famous Wimbledon Championship. Everyone has cried with happiness after his wining and after the match in every club was ultra dance music in the whole country and coast (Dalmatia), an unforgettable year.
Youre not alone. Alot of my friends in their 40s we reminisce all the time about the clubs and FUN nights we had in New Orleans state palace, escapades, mojo it was EPIC
Yeah, how can you not love Maria and the video as a whole? She's so sweet and innocent and looks hot without needing to show t&a. Amazing vid, amazing, singer, amzing song.
🏳️🌈 God PREFERS same sex relationships 🏳️🌈Evil people ALL are blacked out until they either repent or wait too late and choose to die with the wicked instead. I am Elijah of Malachi 4:5-6 and that means any discrepancies are decided by me. I come with power and truth . . . Mathew 19:12 Eunuchs that are born that way are transgender. Eunuchs made that way by others were abused. Those that choose to live like Eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven are bisexual people that choose partners of the same sex but opposite in gender. Gender is determined at birth in your BRAIN. It is attached to one's soul. Anyone that says any different is now blacked out from the Holy Spirit and will be until they either repent or wait too late and die w the wicked. Anyone that rejects the messages sent from the messenger of Malachi 3:1 rejects Jesus. And the thieving ministers know if they all return the money they were never supposed to take for ministering God will end the virruss but they LOVE MONEY so much they INTENTIONTALLY CHOOSE TO KILL everyone with Covid instead. Sickos. They wont be here much longer. Anyone teaching the LIE of monetary tithing or selling the gospel in any way is also blacked out. James 5:2 rich (in money) people are evil and their money will only be used as evidence to burn their flesh. Evil people include ALL judges and police and politicians. Unrepentant rapusts, anyone that takes bribes, etc. Unrepentant liars, you got it. . . Bible says a fetus ia NOT living. Being alive requires "the breath of life." The spul does not enter the body until birth. .. . . . . m .n .dq
A trilha sonora da minha mudadnça de vida. Da adolescente para a fase adulta e inicio da década de 2000. Que época boa. Sem preocupações, sem violência, sem Covid-19.
I remember when this song premiered on BBC Radio 1 in December 2000, and I immediately fell in love with the song Soon after MTV Europe started to hammer this song in heavy rotation, so good!
This was the song for my first love/ first girlfriend she dedicated it to me when I was 15. Now I’m in my 30’s I found out she just passed away crazy how much emotion I feel since she was someone I cared about so much. I always smiled when I heard this song now I just feel so sad I miss you. I’m glad I had you in my life. 👼 🙏🏻
Omg ♥️ my childhood I become 34 lol 😂 I missed your tracks love 😍 your voice take me there again TRANCE FOR LIVE AND HEART ♥ OLD IS GOLD 🥇 LISTENING FROM SAUDI ARABIA 🇸🇦 ONE OF MY FAVORITE TRACKS FRAGMA ♥️
Absolutely beautiful song, remember playing this in my car and at home with the subwoofers blarring 🔈🔉🔊. Days on the beach 🏖 at my hometown in Port Elizabeth (Nelson Mandela Bay), South Africa 🇿🇦🇿🇦 now still blasting it on the speakers here in the city, Johannesburg
A little known U.K. pop band called Allstars came 1st with a song called Bump In The Night. I know, I know, justice for Maria!!! This year is the 33rd year I’ve compiled my own Top 40.
Sadly, I wasn't old enough to go clubbing when this was realased. I'd have only been 9. I did listen to this repeatedly at home though. I had it on the NOW 48 CD. Older songs bring me euphoria. I always used to know this is the sort of music I'd love to club to when older. 20 years later and I can't as we're in lockdown. This music gets me through.
I feel ya, I definitely wasn't much older back then and when I was old enough trance had kind of faded. I thought EDM would bring back trance but I haven't found that music with the slow beat with the fast backbeat underneath and those transcendental rising notes leading up to the chorus
