This video outlines what are, in my opinion, the worst fragrance oils I have smelled! In general, I love all three of the suppliers mentioned, in fact, they are three of my favorites. Fragrance is very personal, and these are some oils I just do not like!!

Good video. Just wanted to say that I have smelled fragrances OOTB & didn’t even want to try them. But, eventually I did in candles & soap & was glad I did. They often smell very different after they are in a product & have cured.

Ok I'm laughing right now because i have a small tin candle burning right now and it's Flaming Candle's "Sandalwood Rose" and it has my house smelling amazing! Your facial expression about some of these makes this video worth watching. Too funny lol 🥰

Ha ha ha!!!! This video was giving me a headache filming even though it was fun. I believe i got the old chocolate fudge??? I think I’ll have to choose this one as my free sample on the next order I do there because Val said she likes it and I’m thinking maybe I got a bad batch?? 🤣🤣🤷🏻

@@earthglow It smells so good to me and my customers have loved it in my chocolate covered strawberry scent! It may have been a bad one or possibly the discontinued one. I’ve only used the new version. The one from Flaming Candle wasn’t very good… reminded me of tootsie rools. Which isn’t awful but definitely liked CS’s better!

Hi Allen, I was holding my breath as you were naming the FO. Since I just ordered 8 FO you had recently reviewed. You are sooo 🤣😂🤣 I'm happy the ones I ordered were not on your list😊 However I have a sample of CS Choc Fudge and like it. Allen I love franklinnscent & M Who has the best FO in this scent. I love Santa pipe by Sweet cakes Candles it has a LoVeLy Tobacco scent I think but I don't know anyone that smokes a pipe. I think it's Fireside by Stone Candles that I hate. I'm trying to figure out what I can blend it with. PeAcE ❤️

Hi Val! Thank you so much for your comment. I had fun making this video for you all 🤣. I will have to try Santa Pipe by Sweet Cakes Candles. My favorite tobacco is Spiced Honey and Tonka by Candlescience but I wouldn’t call it luxury if you are going for that vibe. I also love Tocacco Cedar by Aztec but it has phthalates so I won’t use it 🙃. I think Fireside by Stone candles is similar to the Candlescience Fireside I do not like but it is enough different that I will probably try blending it with some other fragrances in a candle because I really want that classic Bonfire scent. I have not found a showstopper Frank and Myrrh yet but I’m on the lookout!!! The most realistic I have found is Frankincense and Myrrh by Nature’s Garden but not a fav of mine. I enjoy Spiritus Sanctus by Stone Candles but I think it could benefit from more Frank and myrrh both! I do like Frankincense by Nature’s Garden-it smells very much like the essential oil but still looking for that myrrh…. Love and light always 🌱💛💗

Hi Lena and a warm welcome to you! I do candle (and crystal) sales through Instagram livestream, primarily, but in the future I hope to add more candles to the website. My London Fog candle is a blend of four CS fragrances: Mahogany Shea Tonka and Oud Amber and driftwood Sandalwood I use equal parts of each :). Hi Allen!! I am really curious about that sandalwood rose?! I love sandalwood for sure but I’m absolutely NOT a fan of rose. Back when I was in elementary school, my teacher wore a rose perfume and I was not a fan of that and had to smell it every single day!! I wanted to ask you, maybe not your “fragrance fails” but with the ones you like, maybe doing some tea lights for samples? Like, you could do them in 6-oaks or 12-paks for $10-$15 so your customers could sample and then purchase the bigger candles of the ones they love!?! I know many friends who would be interested in checking out the samples!!🕯🪔❤️

@@earthglow Thanks Allen! I love buying tea lights for my outdoor lanterns. They are protected from the wind but get enough oxygen to keep burning. If I had some of yours with the wonderful fragrances you use, and I liked them .. I’d love to buy full size candles in the ones I test with tealights! I also use tealights under scensy burners with my essential oils, imagine the oil and the tealights that compliment each other!! PLEASE let me know if you decide to try this!!🤗❤️

You definitely got a bad batch of chocolate fudge from CS. I have it and mix it with another fragrance but alone it smells exactly like chocolate brownies. My mom who's a chocolate lover, could smell it across the room and thought I opened up chocolates.

I really love the tobacco vanille from cierra....I have not made a candle with this scent so not sure of the throw but I do love it in other products....I have pipe tobacco cashmere from NG and a few others with tobacco but the one from cierra is the best imo....it is well balanced and definitely unisex

For some reason, I have a strong opposition to the NG one but I’ve loved most all other tocaccos I’ve smelled. Love and light 🌱💛

@@earthglow Not at all... it is a well balanced heavy on the vanilla side with the undertone being tobacco. I would describe it as a smooth and creamy scent with a masculine undertone. This was a first order from them for me...still in the testing phase lol I primarily use NG for my bath & Body and Candle science for my candle scents...but always on the lookout for something new and wonderful!! XOXO

Fireside I like the smell I hate how it burns. My customers don’t like it at all. Leather & smoke I hate. The others never tried.

That is too funny! I almost added CS Leather to this list because I really don’t like it but I do think it’s a realistic leather scent, so…. 🤷🏻🤣 What does Fireside do for you when it burns?

@@earthglow For me it doesn’t get hot enough. It seems to be a very heavy fragrance oil. That is the only one I have had that experience with. I make wax melts with the fireside Fallen leaves is my absolute fall fragrance by CSI love that one!❤️❤️❤️
