Hi Allen!! I love that you review these fragrances!! Having the base and mid notes gives me a general idea of what aroma qualities each has. My favorite aromas are Sandalwood and patchouli… but my absolute fave, I’ve not found yet, but if you’ve never smelled a flower called a Star Gazer Lily, you can go to a floral shop and they most likely will have one for you to smell. I’d love to find a fragrance similar!! Love your reviews!!🤗❤️

I’d have to say… I’ve been a hater for a long time, but patchouli is beginning to rank higher on my fav base notes list because I’ve been smelling so many fragrances like this Cracklin’ Birch where it works just exceptionally. I’d have to say though my favs are bergamot and amber for middle/base. I have never heard of a Star Gazer Lilly but it sounds like it would smell just majestic. Now I gotta go do some research and see if I can find anything!!! I’ll let you know if I do. Love and light always 🌱💗
I mix cracklin birch with cranberry rhubarb preserves from natures garden....good stuff!! I primarily use natures garden scents for my soap and candle science for my candle scents, but I will definitely try some of your suggestions!!
Gwendolyn, I have yet to use Nature’s Garden in my soaps but I hear everyone talking about how well many of their fragrances work in CP soap!! That blend you mention sounds just amazing!! I have Cranberry Rhubarb Preserves from NG and will have to give it a try!! Thank you for sharing. Love and light 🌱💗

Hi Royette!! Thank you so much for your comment. That sounds just lovely! Which vanilla do you like the best? I bought a bottle of their Madagascan Vanilla and just adore it but I realized that it has phthalates so I will not use it in my candle line. 🤪🤷🏻
@@earthglow I tried their vanilla bean because it was highly recommended… not sure if it contains phthalates… but soo far testing… my test group loves it I’m sure sandalwood will add the earthiness at maybe 10% will be divine
Cracklin’ Birch is in my candle and soap line…it’s #1. For some reason, Natures Garden doesn’t carry it, but the Flaming Candle does now. It’s identical. Men and women love it. Very masculine outdoors scent.

I highly recommend that you try cardamom and Teakwood. It smells wonderful and does WONDERFUL in cold process soap. I have never tested it with candles, but I am am going to test it .
Thanks again Allen! I was hoping you would do a fragrance review for Nature's Garden. I do love Cracklin Birch!!! I am a soapmaker too and it soaps beautifully. If you get a chance, maybe you could review SweetCakes. It looks like a small company but they have been around for a long time. The quality of their fragance oils is exceptional. My favorite SweetCakes fragrance is Beeswax and Honey. I think you would love it in your beeswax, soy and coconut creme candles. It is devine:) Again, thank you and good luck with your studies!!!

I love the idea of a Beeswax and Honey fragrance-I wonder how it would be mixed with Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey by NG. I love making CP soaps too!! Need to get back into it again. Update! I've been wearing the black linen and amber as a fragrance and let's just say, I have quite the fan club! LOL Thank you for the suggestions! I just ordered the amber waters today!
I do not experience a dominating or even moderate amount of cinnamon in this oil but fragrance is subjective and your experience is absolutely your experience.
