I have Black Afgano's oil, the first time I applied it on my skin I went to the gym and then I took a shower and 10 hours later I could still smell it on my skin 🤯

I buy a beautiful botanical based oil from a small boutique in New York. It last all day on me and I always get compliments! It is very pricey but a little goes a long way. Nothing smells like it. It’s niche and a very small brand. I’ll always have it in my fragrance collection as long as they keep making it 😊

PP's Nasomatto clones are actually very good. I fell in love with Fantomas through their clone. I got the oil, then I got the spray (which I kind of prefer because I loved the bigger waft of projection from the EDP, especially with the ozonic notes), but then I got the real thing and I love it all the same (although PP's is actually fruitier and more ozonic and dare I say more mass appealing). My biggest thing with oils vs sprays, is just unless it's a nice quality metal roller, they can be hard and awkward to apply. Especially as you can't really do it on clothes either. So for the most part I am happy with just using sprays. Also I've noticed with certain fragrances, especially ones that are meant to be gentler or more delicate, that I don't actually want it to be stronger and thicker with the oil version. It makes the notes far too intense and ruins the vibe of the fragrance (I notice this especially with stuff like Jo Malone clones, because they are meant to be quite soft).

Oils don t contain 4k chemicals as perfume and don t have hormones disruptors. For me, definitely oils are the first choice. Clean perfumes are so few.

Acqua Viva is mostly oil but it has a massive projection. Also, older perfumes were oils anyway and so are Middle East beast perfumes. I’m pretty sure oils perform really well too 👍

in the heat edts and parfums will both be baking off your skin, activated by the heat. but theres way more of the actual scent stored in the parfum so it lasts much longer. i think the cold makes fragrances react closer to whats normally described. my reflection 45 is the most concentrated fragrance i have, and possibly the biggest performing

Sunamask are oil based perfumery as well, I own a few of them and I like them, if put enough of it it will last on Ur skin for very long time

Love the history of perfume oils. In fact I think I like them mostly for this reason. Easier to find Eastern scents in the oil / attar world too often. And finally - value for money!

@@SpaceStrikeSprays contain alcohol which evaporates over time and projects the scent into the air. Oils have no alcohol however they are incredibly concentrated meaning they still smell strong but last longer due to no evaporation. They remain on the skin. Distance people will smell you from will definitely be reduced but not by too much.

You have always said that alcohol helps projection and everytime it makes me cringe a bit. Alcohol has absolutely nothing to do with projection. The only reason they use alcohol is to keep the oils suspended in water. The alcohol will evaporate off your skin in a mere 20-30 seconds, after spraying. After this, the water evaporates in a few minutes, leaving the oils for hours. To test this, put some rubbing alcohol on a 37 degree surface or your skin and you will see it fading in no time. The main reason 'diluted' perfumes in sprayers project more, is because spraying covers a much larger skin area than rolling an oil.

I have notice as I do get compliments when I wear spray cologne I have gotten more compliments with Oil 100% of all Oils I wear Women are more smelling me and liking the fragrance as only a certain number of Sprays I get the same compliment I have over 30 oils and only 10 sprays

I like the oils and buy from a small vendor at a local mall. But sometimes certain ones don’t smell as good as the original cologne. I feel like the projection is more consistent and gradually wears off. Whereas with a lot of colognes the projection just goes off a cliff. The Bad Boy oil I currently have smells amazing and I always get compliments.

Pure oils are so much stronger that they honestly project better for waaaaayy longer. The smell is so prominent on your skin u can smell super strong after hours, as if you just put it on. It's projects so well, it can get obnoxious with almost any fragrance in pure oil form. It's really beautiful smelling a fragrance in its pure oil form.

Sometimes the manufacturers of the perfumes aint the same companies manufacturing the oils so they dont hit the right notes. Im not user to oils. Maybe i will try sometime😊

If you live in the UK Pefume Parlour is a no-brainer for their oils, 4 pound for 3 ml is very cheap and they have decent quality and logevity. I havent gotten anything form them since beginning of 2021 so i dont know if there are added taxes now with the whole Brexit thing.

I don’t believe str8 oils last nearly as long as ones with alcohol added. The alcohol is what helps project and protect from age. It keeps it from going sour wayyyy longer. But still would be worth having a few oils imo. Just don’t expect to keep it fresh forever..

Nonsense. The alcohol evaporates off your skin in mere seconds. It does not help projection a single bit. It's all placebo.

Ever since I had Covid two years ago now, I can no longer differentiate scent with alcohol based sprays. However I am able to still smell oils, creams and powders. It's too bad I can no longer enjoy all the fragrances and bottles I collected over the years but it's better than losing the ability to smell altogether.

It’s cheaper on APO, uni or GP websites. For this price you can buy their every sample in the catalogue. APO is arabianperfumeoil GP is generic perfumes Uni is universal perfumes and cosmetics.
