the OG wins by a mile L'Homme is the most amazing date fragrance eve specially if you are over 30 its refined, cozy just beautiful pure class in a bottle a must have in anyone's collection.
L'Homme has always been a favorite of mine. I've gone through almost four bottles since its release. I don't wear it much nowadays, but it will always be in my collection.
I watched Jeremy's videos and ordered 200ml La nuit se L'homme. When it arrived i said to my self what a waste of money. It was summer when it arrived. Now in october ooh god i even spray it on my self when i go to bed. It's so nice
Man.. L'homme was all that great for sure until they released La nuit de l'homme and it kinda just pushed it from its throne lol took all the spotlight for a reason no doubt but l'homme has a spot on some peoples heart and yeah I agree both are worth buying for a fraghead lol! Good video brother.
I bought la nuit de lhomme today And i am getting pretty decent performance out of it . 3 hours after spraying on my both wrists i can still get wiffs of the scent. Have to wait to see its full performance. I heard the recent batches are reformulated to be better. And it smells freaking good as well
Lhomme I own 2009 batch. It was beast smelling fragrance, so spice, its heavier then La nuit 2009 batch. Very long lasting and not lineal at all. So complex
What are your opinions on the 'intense'/EDP versions? They seem interesting but idk, the reviews seem mostly bad. I'm going to sample them myself anyway but I'd be interested in what you think about them.
I like both these fragrance's, l'homme smell's different now from when it came out , it's weaker and some the note's are no longer there. la nuit I've only tried recently and it lasted well and smelt great . I went and bought trussardi riflesso because a lot of people on fragrantica we're saying it's a mix of the two ysl fragrance's. I was disappointed as it's not like them ,I should have guessed as the main note's are different, but it is a great fragrance anyway.i'm wearing it a lot just now.
I would like to hear your take on Trussardi Amber Oud which to me smells like oud immersed in wine and also My Land Trussardi which everybody says it smells like CH Men Carolina Herrera but to me, it smells like L'Homme Yves Saint Laurent just a bit lighter
Can you suggest any other fragrances that are casual suitable? Looking for ones like Lhomme that make you smell good but might not seem like you are wearing cologne or trying too hard, you know? Lhomme and mugler cologne are what I currently have. TIA!
Great video Dallas! La Nuit De L'Homme is a legend. It had to grow on me like you said, mostly because of the metrosexual vibe but its a monster when it comes to the ladys reactions. By the way I bought Zara Y collection and its a pretty good clone! I've been layering it with the OG La Nuit on top. This way your saving yourself a lot of $ because its cheap to reapply. If it wasn't for that crap current formulation I would wear la nuit much more often.
Wait....I never knew about these two as being different, all I knew was people saying the sexiest cologne is Ysl La nuit and when I went to test it, I didn’t like it moreover, I didn’t even know whether I had tried L’homme or la nuit l’homme. Thank you very much for the video!
I love La Nuit. one of my favorites. Check out Alexandria Fragrances Ombre Noir. $37’ 50m. supposedly very close to YSL La Nuit, the 2009-10 batch. i ordered a bottle and some other samples. Will let you know if you’re interested.
I actually bought many fragrances blindly myself, spicebomb is very successful and popular for a reason.. It's quite different and it has a unique spicy scent with vanilla and I dare say it's safe for a blind buy but if you didn't like it don't worry give more than a try.. Your nose will appreciate it each day you wear it 👌 plus it's a perfect fragrance for Christmas btw!

I personally would go with Club De Nuit Intense Man. More compliments, cheaper price, and more versatile. Performance is on par with Spicebomb but not quite as strong. Check my review if you haven’t seen it, but it could easily be for any time of the year
Daryl Catabay I own both and they both are very good fragrances. They smell quite diffrent, so if you can, you should buy both. I think Prada is more formal, powdery, and suitable for clean looking men(like without beard), and YSL has kinda playful sexy vibe, and it's for every man.
