The song from Dirty Dancing was a play on words..."Time of My Life", when they were portraying "dead" characters. This was a fantastic performance, one of my faves from Fralinger.
BTW....I dated the guy who was "Freddy Krueger"...we dated for years. Sadly, he passed away in 1995, so seeing this performance really brings back lots of happy memories for me. Thanks for posting it!
Fralinger and Ferko are my favorites. I feel Ferko had the best costumes and music this year and both Fralinger and Ferko were better than Quaker City.
The only other thing I can figure is not all of the music fit the theme. I mean you are doing a basic halloween/haunted theme and using music from dirty dancing,it doesn't really fit together. I have given up trying to figure out the judges after almost forty years in this parade.
This was a first prize theme! Fralinger was was so much better then Quakers snow theme! Fralinger sounded better, looked better, better arrangement! Fralinger was #1 in '89! Quaker winning in '89 was a joke!
