Looking SOOOO sharp with the black window trim - blown away!!!!

The most important thing with this build is the memories you make for your children. When they grow up i am sure they will think back and say that their childhood was filled with love, laughter and friendship, companionship and happiness. You certainly will provide them with all of that, and they will thank you for it. You are one amazing family, bless you!

Outside trim looks awesome, black was a great choice.

Do you worry at all about moving the cabin to it's final location on the property that there may be twisting and flexing of the container that might compromise the door and window frame seals? 🤔🤔

Great work as always! One thing I learned recently on exterior trim is to run the vertical pieces through the width of the bottom trim. That way it doesn’t create a horizontal water trap where the side rails meet the bottom stile. The idea is if that seam is vertical and water gets in there it will fall through. Well, that’s what Hardi siding recommends for their product but makes sense it could be applied to all products.

Tip for you guys, Paint your barn. I'd go with the same colour as your container. It'll brighten up the whole area and leave it with a polished finish. Great job the both of you. It looks amazing.
