Nice!! I got my son a signed Fall Out Boy vinyl, and may get it framed. He has no idea hes gettin it, and it's for his 13th birthday. My mom has her signed Firehouse one signed and framed.
Thanks! this vid helps! I have an autographed copy of Push It it signed by Salt, Pepa, and Spinderella! I just wish i could find a double frame to do the album cover and the LP itself. If that makes any sense. Thanks!
There are frames that you can put the LP cover in & then the record below it/next to it (depending on how you hang the frame). I have friends that use them for colored pressings.
Thanks for making this video, I just started collecting vinyl this past month and was trying to figure a way to display the picture discs. This was very helpful.
I definetely want to frame some records soon too, I loved the video! When you showed the finished result I thought maybe it would look nice if you would mix the frames on the wall so that 2 different ones are next to each other if you understand ;) And I think I would have put some white background behind the vinyls in the frame, usually I just leave the paper in there that comes with the frame. BUt that's just my 2 cents ;)
acne picture disc are known for being horrible quality, they can also damage turn tables needles due to how they’re pressed. So I never spin picture discs. If you visit my channel you can see my every growing extensive vinyl collection that I do listen to & enjoy. Also two of these picture disc on my wall alone are worth over $500 & I’m not risking scratching them by playing, oops.
People telling others how they should use their hard-earned things to make themselves happy... silliness. Most vinyl comes with download codes anymore for digital copies, often in lossless formats. So you can buy the vinyl for the “objet d’art” aspect of it, and get a superior quality digital copy for regular listening.
Ian Summers that’s a good way to view it too! I love vinyl & have a HUGE vinyl collection that I do listen to & enjoy, but I frame my picture disc because the quality is usually not that great & they can actually damage the turntable needles! Plus some of my picture disc were not cheap... 😅 so I’d rather frame them & keep them up!
I didn't like ow they looked so I left the more "wooden" look since my one entire wall in my office is stained wood! I might get colored card stock one day to put behind them in the future! :)
I only ever frame single picture discs, so I wouldn’t know tbh. But I wouldn’t recommend trying to frame a double LP inside a record frame...I’d say do a shadow box that’s got more depth because I’d be worried the glass or record would break from the pressure in a regular LP frame.
@@OliviaRena okay thank you, I’ll have to just stick with some on Amazon, the 3 pack costs the same as 1 single frame so I was trying to see if it would work thank you tho have a good rest of your night!
The cardboard behind looks soooooooo tacky especially against your real wood walls. I would have put white or black depending on the album. I wonder if they make all glass frames both sides
You pay a lot more for glass. I think the cardboard is not only a nice cushion, but these frames are more within my budget. TACKYYY, not at all! Who’s looking at the background I’m more focused on her beautiful vinyls thank you very much :)!!!
Im almost 23 and I've ever had a record or record player before. I've always wanted a player since I was in middle school and my favorite band classic rock band, probably any band for that matter, is Led Zeppelin and I saw their first album at Walmart last week just walking past the record section (I've never rlly done through the records except a few times and I'd only go through a few of them) and I just had to buy it. It even had a replica ticket in there! I've been wanting to frame it and didnt know they sell the frames at walmart I:
