Hi, in this video I attempt to restore my new vintage watch. This unloved swiss watch was sold at 10$. Why not buy it and restore it!
Thank you so much for watching my video. This is non-professional work. I really appreciate your likes, suggestions, advice, and comments. I hope you enjoyed my restoration. If so, please subscribe to my channel!

This is my favorite kind of watch. Just a beautiful simple understated design. Nothing pretentious. It was an everyman, everyday watch. I have a Banner watch and a Welsbro with very similar dials hands and case designs. They are my favorites in my collection. Great video.

Great video thank you. I have a similar movement in an old Croton watch that I have acquired and I will be using your video as a "How To..." when its on the bench. Thank you.

Nice job. I just did an fhf 96, but mine only has removable jewels in the balance. Yours is very nice! The case is common, and will complete the piece nicely. Good job!

Thanks! I used Citizen/Seiko AO-3a oil. This is medium viscosity oil so I can use at all points, expect for the keyless works. I know I should use some specialized oils at some points though.

Enjoyed watching the video and I’ll have a look at some of your others but, this was just a standard clean not a restoration. Be interested in knowing if you did the case, that would be a restoration.

Thank you for your comment. That's true. This is not a restoration. I was thinking to re-plate the case but I didn't. I'll revisit this watch to restore the case.
