I've been in the front row for Mike and his tone/live sound at Lollapalooza in the 90s, and can honestly swear that that is (the moonburst streamer) the best sounding bass ever made.
Man, I hate being poor. But dammit one day I will have a beautiful Warwick streamer to call my own! It’s really nice to hear Mike talk about his favorite basses and all the stories behind them. It’s also really sweet how he honors his friend’s memory by keeping his hasty glue job on the moonburst.
A Warwick Steamer is my dream....every time I listen to a band and the bass really catches my ear its almost always a Warwick, they just have a really distinct killer tone....Goddamn I want one so bad!
I sure wish there was a Warwick Mike Inez streamer1 artists model! Ive been looking and looking, but these guys are so hard to find....and very rarely painted
That "Moon Burst" Streamer of his has a late 80's, early 90's uniqueness to it with the upper fret access cut/shape somehow. I've seen this several times that not all Streamers have that completely open access design to it where the 24th fret is directly in line with the treble side horn.
Hi there! Correct, the older idderations differ in body shape. The contours and curves on most Warwick models have been re-designed and updated later on.
