Well, that's mainly because they were still in the process of growing up and they actually needed a nanny. By the time that they reached their teen and young adult years, Fran wasn't really needed as a nanny anymore. So, by season five, the crew thought that it was time to get Fran and Maxwell married. They still had an episode that was dedicated to Maggie having a pregnancy scare, followed by her getting engaged and married. So, there were still events with the kids. They just didn't happen as often since they were all grown up by the later seasons.

My final for Gym was accomplishing one pull up. When I finally finished the teacher was like "Ok, good enough. You can stop now." Lol.

At least you did one. I barely managed to hold on to the bar and just kind of hung there. I had (and still don't have) no upper body strength. Eventually the gym teacher just told me I could stop - probably to spare me further embarrassment. Fun times.

. You can still injure yourself if you aren't careful. On the vault, she placed her hands on the front and back edges of the horse, which kept her head safely high.

Kee, you were so lucky. I hated mine. A mean, nasty woman with issues. She died thirteen years ago and a few former students wrote nice things under her obit. Maybe she mellowed as she got older.

@@Djarra first, the show is being produced in the US = scratch a toenail is a major injury. Then: What about break the tailbone, while sliding down the rope or hurting the spine? And have you ever seen a kid or teen using gloves at the gym for climbing a rope?

@@martinb.770 The gloves would stop her burning her hands. As for the tailbone a few years earlier Marina Surtis, Troi in Star Trek TNG, broke hers and just had to carry on. Although she is from North London, so tough as nails. Reaistically here Nicolle is falling on the sort of mats they use for high jump, and from a lot lower. She would be more likely to sprain her ankle walking down the stairs in heels (as Fran did)
