Yeah, but you do realize it's because she was never "just" the nanny, she'd basically been his defacto wife for most of the run of the entire show, he was just *very* slow in admitting it.
It could be just me, but I think the ending of the episode when he said he married her cause she was the Nanny aka the Woman he fell in love with was touching. TheNanny is who she is, and I think it is quite evident that he knows The Nanny also means Mother to his kids.
That was too precious! 😂😂🤣 I am dying over here. Just when I think I love Fran’s character as much as I possibly could, she goes and does something even more endearing and I love her even more! 💕
@Luis Collado I would love to but I don’t want to watch just the middle of the series. I want to catch it beginning to end. Unless I can find a way to do that, I’ll just enjoy these mini glimpses into a great program.

well she did wait for five long years, ate lots of ice cream in between, so no argument is worth not having the bing bing, with max, and i think yetta had her affairs too in her time.
i know its bad but i just had an idea for the nanny episode or cross over where they all end up in the 1930s germany and maxwel ends up a nazi gestapo officer but eh falls in love with her anywyaaaaay and hides her from the nazi butler whose now like an SS agent lol or no maxwell is liek leni rifeinstal like hitlers propaganda minister but he has to like fran and her jewish mother when hitler comes over lol like when trump came over.. "Oh Noo theyre gonan find oiut were jeeeewiiish" "No fran its ok, if anyone asks, we say we were italian!" lol her mom doin clumsy shit to avoid getting caught and maxwell in full nazi officer uniform having to explain to Niles in SS uniform why theres an aurora borelis in the kitchen and so on and so forth
And I had the best time watching it! I knew a real person who kept pushing for marriage like the nanny. The rest of us, her friends, kept telling her the truth. The guy didn't even like her or respected her at all. He had a wondering eye, but she pressed and pressed and now they are incredibly happy together, married for 11 years, and a beautiful kid. He was so horrible though, sort of a mean Playboy! Not sure how she put a such a tight leash on him. Guy is totally crazy about her now and they have the best time.
