Newly elected French lawmakers have held a first round of talks on forming a new government following the indecisive result. They've met at the French National Assembly in Paris to start a process that is expected to take weeks or even months. No party got a majority of seats in Sunday's vote but the leftwing New Popular Front alliance did win the largest number of seats.

What is so terrible about a hung parliament ? Britain had such in WW2 .There are moments we should work together for peace .Something the extremists of the world. don't want Just as US control plus NATO bases is offensive..

France lost its appeal I don't think especially for tourism. at this point who still wants to put France on their vacation list and I am sure they don't want tourists either. They should just cancel teh Olympics lol

PEOPLE of France have given a historical mandate.let us respect this mandate and form the govt.macron must act based on facts on the ground rather than whims of the mind.left getting the highest number of seats does not undermine the story called France.we must act TOGETHER and run the government.the social democrats and the liberals must move together along with the green PARTIES
