You can actuall in a different video of theirs! "The French Ninja - Buhurt One Punch Man" around 0.46! I love this man the video is a blast to watch on its own
While size did help a lot in medieval combat, it wasn't the whole story, it was less important than what you see in these tournaments. Mainly because speed and technique and fight IQ and stamina are somewhat neglected by the fact they're not using lethal weapons. If you're a big guy you can use more blunt force, but you also gas out a lot faster, which is very dangerous in medieval combat and could prove to be your downfall. Also, their fighting formation is different from what you'd see on a medieval battlefield, even if you account for the smaller numbers.
Yeah, especially when nobody on the field really has the skill to counteract big size differences. I'm sure these guys train physically and do a bit of sparing, but they all have jobs outside of this. You'd need to be a full fledged knight to have the competence needed to take someone much bigger than you without a sizeable amount of luck
@@gelwin6382 Being Polish I want to apologise for that cheating shithead. Although, cameras suck so we missed a lot - perhaps this happens more often, like in football?
@@sowianskichopak7579 We start the war when Hitler invade Poland, because we were allies of course. But Hitler fucked us, so in this situation it was very complicated to help you...
Poles and French have been good friends for centuries. Mostly because for most of these centuries their biggest problem was the same, keeping the Germans at bay.
@@hagamapama If I remember good there wasn't any direct alliance between Poland (or Republic of Both Nations) and France before XIX century. Only some kings from french families. Cooperation started in XIX century and ended in 1940 with fall of Third Republic.
What is up with the camera angles? Give me a wideshot of the whole field, don't show me two dudes in a clinch while the comentators are yelling about some awesome takedown
They have duels, 6v6, 16v16 and more, but it would be really cool if they had "protect the flag bearer" since that would add a nice historical touch and an interesting dynamic.
Para mí, el equipo polaco fue el que mejor peleó. In this match, the Polish team was better: obviously in my opinion. Interesting, ¡greetings from Mexico!
This is are royal flag , the one we have actually is a republican flag , we got it when rifles where replacing swords , so put it here would be kinda illogicall :)
@@unemusiqueunjourça veut dire "parce que c'est la Pologne, pas la France l'élégance" c'est marqué nul part que la Pologne est élégante alors regarde au moin sur Google traduction au lieu de deviné ce que ça veut dire
No, not at all. Better to have the weight from muscles. All that armor and heat. You need strength and endurance. Obese person is more likely to get pushed over.
All of history’s greatest warriors are below 5’10 so doubt it... being strong and average sized or short means you have better control over things and a better center of gravity
Petit rappel historique à 1:05 sur l'alliance franco-écossaise de la Guerre de Cent Ans (souvenir qui semble assez présent en Ecosse d'ailleurs encore aujourd'hui)
2:08 : your protection is not thick enough, you have to change it (or your team will be uncomplete and default). Second judge : let me see ? Mmmm... polish guy, he can hold it, go with the others.
