David I love this idea. In September I am traveling on Amtrak in the States. Round trip from Boston to Alexandria VA 64.00 dollars.

Interesting video. I have always had various thoughts on short-haul flights. I do believe travelling domestically which is the equivalent of short hauling travel via train, coach or bus is the best way forward really and its best to leave flying if oneself is to travel abroad and all the rest of it. So there is indeed an example and point to be made from France's initiative seeing your representation about this and all the rest of it. Interesting indeed Dave :-). It does for me too aswell Daniel I must say. Its better really to go flying if you're going abroad really and not if you're travelling domestically so its quite an interesting way to put it really. I certainly always take public transport for travelling domestically is the place I was going to was extremely far from my home residency and all the rest of it. But flying domestically just to get to where you need to go, well it does not make a lot of sense so travelling by train, coach or bus for short haul travel Daniel most certainly makes perfect sense to me too aswell. Its a point well made I must say. Its certainly been a fair while I have last seen you here within Dave and Sally's contents :-). As most of us we have really been living our lives again since the middle of 2021 early 2022 following the aftermath of the worst of the Covid mess as we all know it but at least we sometimes pop by to say hello to Dave and Sally from time to time :-). I love this idea, unfortunately none of this will work in Western Canada. I travel from Calgary to Vancouver area regularly and have to drive as I have pets. It would be amazing to have high speed trains but the cost would be enormous due to the distances. I am sure one day it will happen, but it won’t be in my lifetime.
