nick, you are so inspiring and i hope you know it. thank you for speaking up and using your voice. you are one of my favorite native activists & advocates :,) i’m an alaskan native with a palestinian girlfriend and we both have had very similar experiences regarding being indigenous and being colonized, yet i notice natives in north america usually leave out indigenous arab people when they think of indigenousness. it’s sad to see so many fellow indigenous people not acknowledge or respect other indigenous peoples suffering the same way natives respect other natives in the US, simply because the indigenous people who are suffering are from outside of north america. anyways, i just admire the way you’ve always been inclusive and spoken up for ALL indigenous people and not just indigenous people in the west🫂🫂🫂

I always get confused looks when I say "indigenous Europeans", since Europe has indigenous people. A lot of people think "indigenous" only applies to the people of Turtle Island.
