'Calm My Waves' was a single of mine released in Aug 2022, inspired by Mark 4:35-41. In this passage of the Bible Jesus calms the storm in front of his fearful disciples. He questions them in verse 40, "He said to his disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?". Verse 41 reads "They were terrified and asked each other, "Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!"
As you allow the lyrics to sink into your own situation, I pray you are encouraged. In the midst of the storms of life, every wave and wind He controls. As you watch this video and listen to this song I pray your faith rises. He finds us in the depths of the sea of our worries, fears and insecurities and reassures us that He's with us on the boat of life. And, with Him we can do and conquer ALL things! My prayer is that you would trust Him more and be filled with faith. Our problems seem grand to us but to Him with just a whisper they must cease. Our situation is no match for Him!
