www.FranchiUSA.... The Instinct SL is a modern classic over-and-under. Lightweight and perfectly balanced, the Instinct SL provides intuitive handling that allows for a response that is as fast and natural as the flush of wings.
I got one for Christmas last year. I use if for trap competition and I love it. It is light beautiful chiseled and has a crisp trigger. It has quite the punch however but it let me know im holding something that is powerful. The downside is everytime you open it the safety comes on and can be tricky to get used to. Otherwise it is a great shotgun.
I bought one of these last March. The first time I shot it, I missed eight clays before checking the pattern. From 30 yards, it shot 12" high and to the right. I took it back to the gun shop for them to send it back to Franchi. It is now January, and I haven't heard a word. I will stick to my Brownings. Franchi shotguns are a bad joke!
I have the L version, the extractors are impossible to remove for cleaning. The book is useless and customer service is non existant, even though run by beretta/benelli.
I recently purchased the SL in .410. I highly caution you check the availability of chokes. While it comes with Improved, Mod, and Full, if you want say skeet, it is not available.Oh, and it is proprietary, no after market, and none in stock. Customer service is awful, manuals are awful. A friend just bought a Benelli 828, and by judging that and this Franchi, I have to say, Benelli has zero understanding of the US market. (Yes, the SBE is awesome).
Hey franchi I'm glad you have a 7yr warranty cause that's how long it takes to get one part from u. Still don't have my parts and my shotgun hasn't gotten use all summer cause u can't get me a hammer spring. I'll buy a beretta next time....horrible customer service....do not buy
