I’ve been wanting to have a McDonald’s franchise in Ghana for a while now since relocating from Australia. The closest one to us is in Dubai or South Africa. This information has been helpful Thank you
Thank you so much for such important information... I would like to know more on how to get funding, and share more light regarding the point that you touched on about being vetted before being a franchisor.
thank you so much this video was very informative but i would love if you shed more light on how to get funding specifically for the retail, fast food and petroleum industries and the risks that one should look out for and lastly what is needed in order to qualify as a franchisor
I think the next video should be more numbers driven... saying it makes alot of money or its very profitable is not enough. What are you comparing it to ..is it 10/15/20% ROI in the first year ?
Some people are not Analytical, sometimes when i talk about ratio analysis in that detail about financial analysis its confusing. When i can address finance graduates or accountants or investors then that would be the approach. Here i speak in a way that is mutual.
I’m from a rural area where people have to travel miles and miles to buy groceries. Is it possible to just locate Pick n Pay or shoprite as it is ? Without a shopping centre ?
Absolutely, i also come from a similar background. The research I found it that common problems with the rural area are infrastructure, road, water and sanitation. It then becomes difficult to build such bazaar establishments but we can perhaps approach these retailers for the rural version of their store. this could be a very big breakthrough.
Dear Thuso, if there was a simple straight answer for that i would say. Go get a franchise acceptance and go to any DFI in SA you will get funding. Its suppose to be as simple and straight like that but the T and C in-betweens are those that make the funding process hard. But yes any DFI or bank can fund you.
Hi madam. Very informative session. Thank you for it. However do u know of a group like people who are interested in a certain franchise but don't have the total ro 60% of the total price where they can all come together and own that franchise
Dear @siphiwe , I am an SME owner. I am just passionate about developing SMEs in SA as i believe that poverty can be eradicated if most of us could be interested in running business. Anyway, you may contact me on linked in or Facebook or twitter. If you search my name I'm easy to find.
Dear Peter, If you have the right paperwork to operate business. I will create a content on what are legal papers to be acquired to operate small business or get franchise in SA soon
Hi again just want to find out from you if franchises such as mcdonalds steers chicken licken will do the market research and pick the ideal location for your franchise if u would had to apply for one
Hello, they will let you know locations of stores available in your chosen area but they will never give you a location where they did not do market analysis on.
Dear Muzi. you have been offered 49% shares? congratulations, i see this inquiry is longer than three months, if you still need assistance you may contact me on linkein.
This is part of the recquirements when trying to raise funds. A feasibility study. Remember the franchisers also want to make money they will never give you a location to run if they have not done a background check on it
Let's connect. I am visiting South Africa next month from Nigeria. I run a school management software business here and trying to get into the South Africa Market. Send me an email once you get this notification.
