I thank you Father God for Francis Chan, powerful message! I am only half way through this message and so completely touched, this speaks directly to me, such TRUTH!
That was a great sermon Pastor, I'm going on 70 years old and your so right ,I've been holding on to things .I thank The Lord , for using you to show me that , I'm so thankful for your teachings. in my years I've never heard teachings like that .I accepted the Lord in 1974 .and I've learned more hearing your sermons. Please continue using U tub .God Blessings be with you and yours throughout Your Life .Love You My Brother Chan.
One of my favourite speakers,a man who preaches and practices what he preaches.God bless you,Mr Francis Chan.(Oh,I've never seen you in a suit, you look great!)
Reading Francis Chans 'Crazy Love' and it is convicting me. From what I see the U.S. church is so comfortable that we think we only need to be hearers and not doers.
Please Lord, help us all to be more obedient, to do your will......why are we all such hearers, but not doers....change us, give us insight....make us more like Jesus...bless your servant Francis and raise more us to glorify your name by the power of your HS...
Lord I pray your perfect.will to take over my families life and everyone else I know. Help me to be relevant when i speak and to be the best servant of God and his people. Amen
I've been wondering how biblical it is to save money. Solomon mentioned storing up grain. But the New Testament seems to support giving rather than saving.
Abbie B when there is a major need, how can you give if you haven't stored up? I think it is biblical stewardship to save and to give because there may come a time when you need or someone else needs what you saved. Remember that Jesus came to fulfill the Old Testament not to abolish it or make it irrelevant.Jesus did abolish the need to give sin offerings.
Yes, we can help each other with evangelism by praying for each other. I set my alarm to go off everyday at 12 noon to pray for a friend and his evangelism efforts at his work. Also, it is so true about older Christians; I don't know that I've met one yet who really has true zeal for God along with patient, loving compassion and interest in the lives of fellow believers who struggle. I keep meeting older Christians who are nice enough on the surface until a person reveals some deep struggles. They don't seem interested in spending their time discipling others but they'll volunteer for all sorts of other activities that don't involve authentic interpersonal investments. Just my observation.....and I grieve over this lack in the church....
God bless you. I pray everyday that God breaks my heart over such false deceptions and for all the lost souls. I know when I don't carry His burden, my life is meaningless.
Take a quick moment to read 2 Peter 1:5-11, I think you will really like it, even the whole chapter, but specifically that. If we add those things and they are increasing we will never fail. Love you! May God give us the grace to all be effective always.
