I have thanksgiving by myself all the time. Honestly it really doesn’t bother me. I season the turkey, marinate it, butter it and more. I set it in the fridge for a day. I make the stuffing, mac and cheese (Baked) and chocolate cake. I mate Potato Salad and delicious Spanish Yellow Rice with Black Pinto Beans and more… on the day of thanksgiving, I set everything like as if someone is coming over. But it is just me…. Yea this sounds sad but I’ve grown used to it. Just me, my dog, and some good movies and food.

The turkey and mashed chips actually look good.

I have Thanksgiving with family every year, but every year the people coming over to get together dwindles. Kids getting married and having families of their own, some move out of state, This year was not too bad, but it was a very small gathering and I am afraid that next year, it will be my parents, me and possibly one other sibling. Guess that's what happens when everyone grows up and has a family of their own. The sad part is, no girl wants me so I am going to be the only one that will spend time with my parents. Just the three of us. When they pass on, It will be just me. I know this was all acting, but I am almost at this point where I will be just like that, alone. Guess I better make the most of not being alone cause I know it will end soon.
