By saying African greatness, I am showing appreciation of those who worked hard to receive my applaud. I hope this explanation is clear. That aside, if an American can say he is proud to be American, he is showing appreciation for that country and its legacy. So if I choose to show appreciation for being African then it shows I have a level of pride for the continent regardless of what others might think. And why shouldn't I, Africa homes the pyramids, the Nile, awesome wildlife, great leaders ( e.g. the late Nelson Mandela), vast rain forests, beautiful native fabrics etc. So yeah I am proud of Africa and I hope you understand.
