As funny as that whole bit is...it did remind me of spending one Christmas driving three hours to deliver presidents to an elderly family friend who had just had an amputation (dual leg) due to not taking care of his diabetes. Honestly, the best Christmas ever because I spent it doing something for someone else, but also one of the hardest as I had to sit with him and his family and watch them realize nothing will ever be the same.
