For the 50 years I've been watching and listening to this man, he never comes across as anything less than the consumate professional when he's interviewed. No frills. No bull shit. Just tells it how it really is. Long live the Quo. keep rockin' on.
I'm always impressed that Francis has to emphasis that the people who come to the show are so important that it concerns him enough to wrap his life in preparation to give them the best possible . And his sense of humour 😁👍🏴
When my late Mum was alive, she adored Status Quo, and as she aged and suffered ill health, after heart attacks and strokes, it was always the music of Quo who got her through each recovery period. She'd tap her feet, nod her head (an 80+ year old "headbanger" was a sight to see!!) and sing along to every song as her brain recovered and was able to process the life she remembered and continued to get better. My thanks to Francis Rossi for his great personality, his great music and the wonderful help he (obviously unwittingly!) gave to my Mum, getting her through her various trials and tribulations. So good to see Francis doing so well himself. Long may he continue to be fit, well and to enjoy his life. ❤️🎸🏴🙂🇬🇧 R.I.P. to passed on band members... The Show must go on... 🎸❤️🎸❤️🎸❤️🏴🙂🇬🇧🖖
The fans who have kept coming back will keep coming back. Another great act from the 60’s which has evolved and Francis has just kept giving. Good on you mate 👍🏻🙏
@@CB-xr1eg I interpret it as personal thing for him. He is all about business when getting interviewed and that is why he doesn't say that he misses him. Francis isn't the nostalgic type of person either which you would notice because he deliberatly chooses not to comment on what would be his fondest memories of his career. It's all about business and the now. Love him.
I seen them in the 90's at the Enmore Theater in Sydney. No money, no ticket, no shoes. I walked around the back and straight through an open door. I ended up in the green room chilling out with the band. Francis commented on my bare feet and we all had a laugh. Almost brings a tear to my eye remembering.
You can tell he’s tired. There’s a sense of realism in his voice and demeanour. He wanted to reminisce about Rick but it’s not good business. It’s what happened to The Stones when Charlie passed. It’s the elephant in the room - don’t scratch the surface. Brilliant band. A stalwart of my youth. Like a faithful dog, The Quo have always been there for me. Francis has done well to keep the dream alive. There’s an element of doubt but there will be when you’re an ageing rocker! Good luck mate.
Saw the Quo for the first time last year in Brighton. I life long dream come true. They were fabulous. Sad that I missed seeing Ric but the band were tight and Francis sounded great live!
Remember seeing Quo here in Melbourne Australia maybe 20 years ago and it was totally amazing to see everyone getting into the music regardless of age. I will never forget Francis stopping mid way through a song and telling a grandmother to put her top back on. What a great night and what a band! Aussies love Quo.✌️🙏
Great to hear Francis talking about normal things that happen to people in life I remember meeting Steve Marriott who was like Francis down to earth but get on stage they take on another personality and can really cut it , and both underrated frontman guitarist,
Love Status Quo! Last time I saw them was at Epsom maybe 10 years ago. Can t believe they are still playing. A really classic band! Wish them all the best!
I write from France and I am 63 years old. If Francis Rossi is certainly a British rock legend, it's funny to me to see him in an interview and in a costume. In fact, for me, he is just the only survivor of a legend, but in France we do not have, or no longer have, the same perception as you of this era that I loved so much.
Absolytely this Band, always remember 💕. This man is still charming. Thank you Status Quo band❤〰️☄☄☄. Thank you for the video. Long life too...from Finland friends 👋❤Byee
It's funny, for decades, as a tour is getting closer and the extra dates are penciled, the PR machine ramps up and the same appearances are scheduled, Francis is rolled out to say the same things. There is something quaint and familiar about it all, I love it and hoping to see them at a festival and in a venue. Legends Quo ❤💪
Went to The End of the Road tour in 1984!!! Going to Botanic, Belfast 2024 forty years on. Albums - Piledriver, Hello, Quo, Dog of Two Head, On The Level and Ma Kelly’s Greasy Spoon. The old stuff is best. Best track - Forty Five Hundred Times. 🎸
Oh Francis, you can't be serious that this will be the last tour. For me this is only the second and I hope for at least three. 😘I wish you all the best for this tour and we'll see you soon in Germany. ❤
I heard Piledriver that Boogie was hard. Saw them in the seventies come to America twice opening up for other groups. They were my band I love them. Not one person I've known liked them.
So good to see Mr Rossi again. His six decades of success are well deserved. Furthermore, his diction was far superior to that of his hosts. But, then, it is important in his line of work, is it not?
@@CrueLoaf But think about often how Sir Paul talks about John and how he misses him. Rick and Francis were in a band together much longer than Paul & John. Yet Francis seems to reluctant to talk about him. He could recall some stories of events that happened, but he'd rather choose to forget if you ak me.
Lovely man I do hope so much they'll try to get it together for '26. I can't see them this year, but I want to see them one last time with the whole group of friends who I gained over the years
3 hours? I saw them in 1984 in Glasgow and one of the nights (2nd) they really did play for 2 hours 50 minutes. Unbelievable, the energy they had back then.
I thought Quo were done when Rick left as Francis wanted to continue with the acoustic quo and Rick didn't enjoy the aquostic stuff as Rick said he couldn't do acoustic for the rest of his career. Funny that soon as Rick left Francis went back to the electric stuff.
