I don't know this show but for someone who just wanted to hear an interview I found everyone except the main interviewer to be rather distracting and annoying. Still interesting to hear more about the story though.

I care about them behaving like teenagers while a man is explaining how he found a damn foot sticking out the snow while a man was wondering if hed ever see his loved once alive.

I love the Dan Lebatard show and the people on it with their jokes and humor. This was pathetic from EVERYONE on the show. I REALLY wanted to hear this 16 min long interview with this life saver with life saving information and could not make it past 7 min. Downvote. This makes EVERYONE on the show look SO disgustingly bad I cannot believe you even have it up on the youtube channel. It was a VERY short clip and Dan doesn't even know if he recued a man AND said MULTIPLE TIMES "you saw him out of the corner of your left eye?" NO DAN! The man was on his RIGHT SIDE!

Nah. Let’s not. But, i bet you that fellow will never go into the back country again without one. They are a great tool, but freedom of choice to use one or not NEEDS to be preserved. Part of the thrill of that style adventure for some is that you are “on your own” and you ride the fine edge of life. It’s everyone’s natural born right to ride that edge and risk a fall to the other side. And that’s OK. No need to mandate it out of existence.
