There was a personality conflict there, at first. I have been there with some of my coworkers, at times. I do get along, with just about everyone, but sometimes, not all. When that happens, its like what happened to Lindor and McNeil. Very glad, it's seems to be working out now.
Definitely. But I think we can all appreciate even though they’re all lying about it, whatever happened between the two is staying internal and not being shared with fans and media. There’s a solid level of professionalism there at least.
Agreed, something more serious happened and it looks like they handled it like professionals afterwards. Had the dugout not reacted, nobody would’ve known anyway
Looking back on this, it’s just an indictment of how inept a manager Luis Rojas was. He had no authority and had no control over that clubhouse. A better leader of men would have known how to manage a prima donna like Lindor and a hot head like McNeil.
If it were a fight, it wouldn’t explain why the first time they went into the tunnel, Lindor and O’Neil just all of a sudden sprinted in there together. I doubt they said, “let’s go fight in there!” and just ran into the tunnel together.
Always possible that they both threw down for an eight ball or something, and were about to break off a couple lines, until a teammate caught wind of it, causing the rest of the guys to scurry into the dugout, hoping to get a taste....
@@keithqueef7880 I want to say that sounds like a great idea, but I I don't know how I would feel about trying to hit in front of thousands of people on live TV in front of millions on a bunch of blow haha. I tried doing a pro wrestling match on it once and I thought I was going to die haha. Id be tweaking at the plate grinding my teeth hahaha
