I saw this on Maria's channel and it made my mouth drop. I think you really outdid yourself on this one. The details were so perfect and you can tell it really meant a lot to her. I love how you did the body contour. Bravo!
Thanks, Kale! I really tried to build something that would honor the man and have sentimental value for Maria. I tried several new things on this build and learned a lot in the process! I love love love this interesting and unique handmade by YOU ukulele! I love the subway token to commemorate Frank's 30 years with the NY subway....that is totally cool!! I love the very different headstock...much different than any cigar box guitars I've seen. I really like the arm comfort part which I have never seen on a cigar box ukulele. Great job..I'm sure she was very happy to have this beautiful handmade uke!!

I had to re watch this again as it touches my heart so much that you did this for me. I am getting back to playing stringed instruments after having a bit of hand trouble. The latest injection for trigger thumb seems to finally have done the trick. and of course ir was my left ring finger. But finally I don’t have it bent in toward my palm (i had to painfully pry it open daily). So this is all good news to getting back to learning and doing justice to this sweet instrument. Sweet in so many ways!! ❤ hugs to you my friend amd ever grateful 💕
