My brother passed away unexpectedly a little over a week ago ... My son chose this song to be played at his funeral service ... It was such a perfect choice!!! We've had many inquiries since about this song ... Perfect Louisiana song for a Louisiana son, brother, uncle, great uncle, and grandfather ... Gone TOO SOON at 53 years of age ... RIP Brother!
Every time I get a chance to watch Frank Foster in concert I go watch because he is one of the more holy country singers there are. He is a great singer. I wish more people would realize the talent that is down south.
There is just no mistaking passing over the Ole Miss-A-sip!! Love how I can recognize places from some of these first videos! I think I could go see Frank once a month and not get tired of seeing his smiling face looking down on me singing with that smooth voice! Love ya Frank! Can't wait to see ya again!
This song never gets old! I could listen to it dozen times a day even after all these years! I dont think there is a day that passes that I havent listen to Frank!
