Those thoughts make me physically ill. The nausea is unreal. It is a constant struggle to maintain sanity. I love knowing that I am not alone. Great podcast.
When I realized that anxiety is my nervous system response to stress and not all in my head it became easier to manage. I can't control how my body reacts and it's not only a thought based issue.
There's been many a terrible things that have happened in my life, none of whichever happened. That's a Mark Twain quote that reminds me of people like us that have anxiety attacks or panic attacks. Our mind spirals.
I find that weed helps a lot. When the THC is working or I’m high, I am presented with just the right amount of paranoia that enables me to address paranoia thoughts and thus remind myself that this isn’t real. It takes practice but for me it works
