Wonderful performance! Names of the players? That was me 30 years prior (except I was playing Bartók's no. 4) Who was the meanie who publicly disliked this video? These young people need and deserve encouragement (of which I'm sure they got plenty in Charlie's marvelous program) not a bucket of cold water (particularly not publicly). We do hear it is not "perfect" (and they know it too) but this is a terrific performance by any standard and a major achievement for these seriously talented young players. BRAVO!
A fabulous performance of this difficult work. Yet the performers are really playing as one complete unit. Absolutely vital to achieve what is required to maximize the impact of the piece. Very very well done!!! I really enjoyed it.
Great performance! This was Martin's sole string quartet (composed 1966-67), challenging for both performers and audiences but ultimately immensely rewarding. It deserves to be better known.
@@aliucar9550
