You arent wrong. Side control knees def arent illegal because theyre dirty. Their illegal because theyd end 95% of all fights.

Allowing knees to grounded opponents would hurt wrestlers just as much as BJJ guys

@@ChicCanyon 95% of times someone’s shooting, they’d get a knee across the temple, it’d be way harder to take people down, Merab would be fucked lol

@mongoose890 as a life long wrestler there are about a thousand ways to get to the mat without shooting a double or a single. Its just popular because the rules protect it from proper defense. Youd just see the method of take down change is all.
