He’s just 23. His potential is crazy as a role player. He’s a combo guard that defends like young Kawhi. He can handle the ball and make plays/assist but also can play off ball and be catch and shoot player. He’s just not a polished scorer yet but other than scoring he can do everything.

We've been talking about his potential for 5 years now. Just watching this clip I still see the flashes of greatness in his game but I don't see him being a really useful role player if he can't start knocking 3's down. Which could happen.

@@foarfield Knicks fans had high expectations from him as he was picked in the lottery. That pressure + playing in NY + coming from a different country at 18 took away all of his confidence. Every little mistake he made thibs would pull him out of the game. Can’t develop that way. In Dallas his expectations are low and that’s why he’s more confident and playing his game. Mavs fans know the impact he has.

@@dhakadhaka3155 nah, I watched Frank for 5 years and I can verify that he was bad and that he’s never gonna get much better. Knicks fans waited year after year just to be disappointed and see no improvements in his game. He got many opportunities on the Knicks to show what he can do…many… also,I don’t think too many Knicks fans had high expectations for him after his rookie year tbh. We all kinda knew he wasn’t good.. but I do wish him the best and it would be great to see him get an established role on a team if he improves

@@dhakadhaka3155 I'm a huge frank fan since day one. They probably fucked up his development, but another big problem with him was being made of glass. He had at least two or three stretches on the knicks where he was in the rotation and really starting to play solidly, then went down for weeks and was banished. But to say he can make plays I think is overselling his offense. His finishing is really bad (I'm very familiar with the weak-ass attempt at 0:45), and although his handle has come along, it's not great. He'll make rondo assists, but without threatening scoring he's not going to be a creator in my book. I'm glad to see RAPTOR and LEBRON both evaluating him as a plus player this season (barely), that shows you how high his potential is that he can do that with 47.9% true shooting. If he can catch and shoot at league average he will be a valuable player for sure. His stroke has always looked pretty good!

@@foarfield take your pick between 0:45 or 1:13, he plays weak. I wonder if he can finish and be more aggressive on the offensive side of the ball.

He was my favorite Knick, glad to see him getting some actual burn. Always gonna pull for Frank!

Still needs to work on going left. You can see when he is shooting he is much more comfortable and in balance going right. He also need to still work on his finishing with the left hand too.

He still plays the same way since his rookie year. It's crazy that he was a lottery pick for NY while there players in the D league more deserving. I think he's been lucky in his NBA journey so far to still be on a team. The man is shooting less then 40 percent out there if anyone is wondering if he's gonna develop that 3 point shot..

How do you miss layups?!? Being an NBA player means you don’t miss layups. You can miss 3s and some shots, but not layups!!!

There are theories that he has troubles with finishing around the rim because of his long hands.
