Written in 1938 by Hoagy Carmicheal and Ned Washington (Hoagy composition, Ned lyrics) for the movie "Romance In The Dark". In my opinion, this is among the greatest love songs ever written. It grabs you by your heart and doesnt let go, it says everything a person wants to say to thier soulmate.

He was the most honest and "in the moment" singer -- and maybe artist of any format -- ever. It's the 100% conviction and "being there" that makes him the best ever. Sure, great voice. But he gives everything of himself. It's all very personal.

It's amazing that Sinatra was recording two or more albums a year - while touring, while playing Vegas, while doing charity events, while making films, while doing television! Today, a recording "artist" will put out an album every five years, give six performances - and call it a tour. Stay safe and swing - but at a safe distance!
