Averne di gente così oggi : talento, coraggio, intelligenza pura, senso dell' umorismo. Ci manca qualcuno come Frank oggi, anche se non avrebbe vita facile nel clima generale odierno..., d' altronde gli hanno reso la vita difficile anche in passato ma ha saputo sempre tenere la schiena dritta. I haven't lived in my hometown, Portland, Oregon for nearly 30 years, which was back then consistently voted one of the most livable cities in the US. (Those days are long gone, sadly.) But I recall very clearly that the place was inhabited by thousands of "Freddies", such as the memorable lady that the late, great Mr. Zappa sings about so eloquently here. Their standard look, if memory serves me correctly, featured Red Wing shoes, a flannel shirt, a mullet and more often than not, a scowl (and a condescending pontification) for any hapless male within striking distance. I live in Portland, so I was massively amused by this comment. Those sort of people seem to be less prominent now, especially among the younger generation to which I belong.
Sicherlich das Herzstück des damaligen Konzertes im Zirkus Krone und von daher ein wenig schade, es hier so heraus gerippt zu finden... da es sich dabei allerdings wohl auch um die beste Version aller Zeiten handelt, ist dies nur allzu verständlich!
