This site is intended for educational and noncommercial purposes, to provide a place for musicians and Zappa tribute bands to submit their music for reviews, and allows anyone from anywhere to collaborate on musical projects.

Contents that are used on this site are believed to be artists' renditions of said songs and not original compositions, except where noted. All renditions are entirely a matter of the creator's interpretation. As a result, while some renditions remain faithful to the original songs, others take a whole new turn and end up in completely different places - some are pretty good, some are really awful. For that very reason, all of the visitors to this site are strongly encouraged to listen to the original songs first.

We encourage people to learn, play and listen to Zappa's music, we want Frank Zappa and his music to be alive - we are convinced that music only dies when people leave it behind and nobody wants to play it anymore.

It also proves the genius that Zappa was in inspiring other musicians.

Zappa really could be the epitome of bad taste in clothing, *even* in the 70s.

Tom Fowler sadly died at 73 yesterday. What an underappreciated player he was. He never stood out, but was always the melodic glue. When you stop to focus on his playing, it's like a "wow!" moment. He is just so locked in and creative. Sad to see him go prematurely. This is one of his best performances from his Zappa era.

The best part of all is when they play together where no one can break that bond, they become one.

When your modern music is so complex you have to learn how to professionally transcribe sheet music, since memorizing it all is even more work.

I once read a comment on a RU-vid video that said "Frank Zappa was nothing more than a blues player." This entire segment proves that wrong.
